The Truth

Ana's POV

Ashley gave birth to a beautiful baby girl few minutes before midnight. So, Jude and Régine have the same birthday.

Mum and dad still can't believe they are grandparents.

*Next Day*

I went next door to meet Régine. I picked her up from her cot and I couldn't look away. She really is beautiful. She had a light peach colour and green/greyish eyes. She had a really beautiful face, her tiny nose, heart-shaped lips, her blond eyelashes and eyebrows, were adorable.

Finn walked in with Jude in his arms. "I think it's time Jude meets his beautiful cousin."

Jude was wide awake when placed him near Régine. They placed them both in Régine's cot and Jude suddenly stretched his long skinny arms wrapped his arm around Régine. It was the cutest thing ever.

Aaron saw what happened and the biggest smile appeared on his face. "Attaboy."

* Two months later *

Finn's POV

Ana's parents stayed for a month and then they left London for a business matter.

I've been taking pictures of Jude as the days pass. What I am trying to do is to make an album with photographs of Jude as he grows up and when the time comes, I shall give it to Logan. Ana doesn't know the reason behind Jude's daily photo shoots but I am glad I'm doing this.

One day Jack and I had to stay all day at the office and asked Ana to take pictures of Jude. When I got home, half of the photographs were great shots, the lightning was perfect and the shutter speed. That's when I realised Ana knows about photography, more than I thought she knew. The other half of the photographs were the kind of shots people take in the moment. It had a different feeling from the rest of the photographs but they had this warmth, you felt home just by looking at them. Which is pretty amazing.

I placed all my equipment down and headed to the table for dinner. Then, I got caught up in a million thoughts.

"More pasta?" I heard Ana's voice in distance even though she was next to me. "Please. " I smiled.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked softly. "How long today was." I admitted. "Tell you what, why don't you and I go out for a walk after dinner."

"What about Jude?"

"Aaron called and he said he wanted to stop by and pay Jude a visit, I can ask him to take care of him for a few minutes."

"Would he mind?"

"Nah!" She laughed. "He's more excited with Jude and Régine than Ashley and I." She joked.

Ana's POV

After dinner, Aaron arrived. I was washing the dishes, Finn was editing Jude's photographs, and Jude was asleep when there was a knock on the door. I opened the door and saw my brother with a box of chocolates and a small bouquet of flowers.

"Where's my favourite nephew?"

"He's asleep." I smiled

"Well? Go wake him up?"

"Are you crazy? It took a long time for him to sleep."

"I'm hungry." Aaron said rather serious.

"I'll get you something." I walked a few steps. "You can have some chocolates."

"Thank God you said that."
