Logan's POV
Ana and I have been dating for a while now. Two weeks to be exact. Things gave been wonderful. Last week I didn't get to see her a lot like I'd want to since she's working on this big project. I did however, spent a lot of time with Jude.
In a week from now, it's Ana's birthday. One of the many things we enjoy doing together is going to concerts but there's no concerts that I know of on that date.
Vegas is off the list. I don't wanna get drunk. I wanna spend time with Ana and remember all of it. If we were to go out clubbing, we wouldn't be with Jude... and I don't want that either.
I gotta come up with a good plan.
Ana said she didn't want anything big, but I'm running out of good ideas.
I talked to her dad yesterday and I asked him when they're gonna have a family reunion. He said that was going to take place next week, so that's something.
He also asked me to invite my family. James said that it would be a great time for their family meet my family since we are all practically family.
So, right now I'm gonna tell mom and dad during breakfast.
I headed to the kitchen and everything was set on the table.
Orange juice, scrambled eggs, sunny side up eggs for Lucas, pancakes, toast for dad, French toast for Lindsey, and hash browns.
"It smells wonderful, mom."
I kissed her good morning on the cheek. "You've been waking up in a very good mood lately." She smiled.
Dad walked into the kitchen and took a seat on his usual spot on the table. "I've noticed that, too..." Dad put down his iPad. Ever since I bought my parents an iPad they stopped buying newspapers and magazines. They just simply read on their iPads.
"You have also been hitting the gym lately... What is it? A new movie?"
"No that can't be... None of the scripts they've sent him are about Tiger Woods." Mom laughed. It's was kind of an inside joke between mom and dad.
"Things are good with Ana?" Dad chuckled.
"As a matter of fact, we've been officially dating for two weeks now."
Mom and dad looked at each other and dad said to mom,"I told you, Lisa Pay up."
"Fine." Mom pulled out his wallet and handed dad a hundred dollar bill.
"What's all this?"
"I told your mother the only reason you've been in a good mood lately is because well..." He gave me a sly look.
"What? No! Ew. You guys bet on which one of us has more action?"
"Just you and Lucas... your dad denies that Lindsey is a woman with needs." Mom gave him a look.
"Ugh. Lisa! I'm eating." Dad said with disgust. "Yeah. Mom. Ugh."
"What did you want us to say, Logan. You went from Mr Grumpy to Mr Sunshine." Mom sat on the table with us.
"FYI. Ana and I haven't been together together. She wants to take things slow."
"Take things slow?" Dad laughed and choked for a few seconds. When he caught his breath he said, "You two already have a son. If you two wanted to take things slow you would've done that before." Dad joked.
"Give me my money back Larry, you heard the boy." Mom looked at him seriously.
"Unbelievable." I laughed nervously.
