New Start (Logan Lerman)

Jack's POV

Friday 2 pm

We woke up early so we would arrive to LA early. These three days have been great. Ana and Finn sorted out their problems and the three of them, Logan, Ana, and Finn, have been spending a lot of time together. What Finn basically did was to give up and he told that to Ana in front of Logan. I don't know why the sudden change but I'm glad it happened for the sake of our friendship. Finn, Emmy, and I are staying in Logan and Ana's house. Right now, Logan and Finn are outside having a few beers. Ana and Emmy went to grab a coffee and then they would go to buy everything for a barbecue.

Forty minutes later I called Olivia. But she didn't answered so I left her a voicemail.

"Hey, Olivia. It's me Jack. Um. I'm just calling to let you know I arrived a few hours ago. Phone me when you can? Goodbye."

I headed downstairs and grabbed a beer from the refrigerator and joined Finn and Logan.

"I'm glad all got sorted out." I said as I sat next to Logan.

"Yeah." Logan chuckled.

Finn seemed genuinely happy. I've never seen this happy since he dated Ana.

"You don't mind if I invite some of my friends?" Logan asked.

"Of course not. It's your house you can invite whoever you'd like." I said to him.

He laughed, "That's good because I already called them..."

Finn and I chuckled.

Ana's POV

"Thanks." Emmy smiled.

"As promised..." I placed Emmy's coffee in front of her. Emmy wanted to talk about stuff a few days ago but I promised her that when we arrived to LA we would have our talk.

"...so, what is it that you wanted to talk about?"

"I have this friend..." She started.

"Oh no! Don't bring up 'I have this friend' talk..." I laughed.

"Well... we talk but she's not my friend."

"okay."

"... she had sex with the guy I like... And I think he already asked her to be his girlfriend."

Emmy had this sad look in her eyes. The same look as Finn.

"Listen, these types of things happen... I should know."

Emmy just half smiled.

"Sort things out with your friend. You are beautiful and kind and you don't have to lose your virginity to someone just to make him your boyfriend. That comes after you've had time to know each other well. You'll find the right guy that will make you feel even more special than you already are..."

"But what if I don't end up marrying that person?"

"You'll have a beautiful memory if you choose well."

"Just like Finn?"

I nodded slowly.

"Then... he was the one you lost your virginity to?"

"Um. It's not right for you to know that..."

"It's okay, You just told me so just by looking at you expression."

I nodded again.

"Always try to handle things maturely, think before speaking and acting upon an impulse."
