New Start (Logan Lerman)

Finn's Intentions

Emma's POV

After we hailed a cab outside we went to buy some food for tonight's dinner. We are at my flat, I opened a bottle of white wine and served wine in three glasses. "Do you reckon Jack and Finn would want to eat an English dish?" I unconsciously asked. Logan just sipped from his wine,"I'll go for a walk..." He said serious.

"Sure." I said. Ana just stared at him. I looked at Ana and rolled my eyes towards the direction he was walking. She got my message and went after him.

I started to place everything we just bought in the refrigerator while they both talked outside.

Logan's POV

I heard footsteps behind me as I walked outside Emma's penthouse. I stopped and the footsteps stopped too. I turned around and it was Ana.

"Hey?"

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing."

"Don't do that..."

"Do what?" I asked.

"Push me away... Every time something bothers you, you keep it inside."

"I'm fine... I just thought you needed some girl time with Emma. That's all..." I lied, the truth is that just the thought of having to be in the same room as that bastard made me ill.

"I love you..." She smiled and placed her hands on my cheeks. "And I love you, too." I replied and pecked an innocent kiss on her lips. Since Emma's apartment was in front of Central Park I could quickly escape for a while.

I looked down at my phone as I plugged in my earphones. I had text from Alexandra.

"What's up?"

"Not much..." I replied

"Moody, huh? What's bothering you?"

I used to have a crush on Alexandra. That was when we first started shooting the first movie together. But when I actually met her what I really wanted and needed was a friend. Besides, she never showed any interest in me so it made it a lot more easier having her as a friend. I realised I preferred a friend like her that would last a life time than a girlfriend like her that's good for a while and then all turns into hell.

I told her everything about Ana, and Jack and Finn, and the whole dinner. I left the part of what happened in London out for various reasons.

Alexandra told me she probably never got over him. But, she told me not to think about it because we don't know for sure. I think there's the possibility. But now I can't stop thinking about it.

I started to listen voices. They were asking each other if I was Logan Lerman. And other stuff about me. Then I realised I had my earphones on but I totally forgot to play a song because I was texting Alex. So, I pretended I didn't hear them and continued walking. I just wanted to be alone.

Ana's POV

Logan kissed me goodbye and I returned to the apartment when the doors of the elevator shut. I headed back to the apartment and walked towards Emma.

"Is everything alright?" She looked concerned.

"Yeah, he said he just went for a walk so we could have some girl time... That's all."

She remained silent and sipped some wine while she looked at me.

"What?"

"And didn't it occurred to you that maybe Logan thought we wanted to talk about Jack and Finn and he was the only one that hold us back from talking about them... and that's why he left?"
