SETH:

"And it gets even better, he pulled it out and it was a doll." I said explaining a story to Monaé making her laugh her butt off. "That was funny Seth, I'm not going to lie." Monaé said as we stood in front of her door. "The boys really liked the gifts, and they can't wait to go to the game tomorrow night." Monaé told me as she rubbed my cheek. I'm not sure why she's rubbing me, but it feels good.

I took her hand off of my cheek and held them. "What's wrong?" She asked me. "I want to meet your sons tonight, now. Monaé I don't want to meet them after my game where I'm not at my best. The sooner or better, I plan to stick around for a while and I want them to know me." I replied. "Seth, I don't know, I mean I just broke up with their father and the breakup was hard on them. I don't want to force you upon them." "Naé, come on-" I was suddenly cut off by the door in front of us opening.

A little boy, about the age of 6, was in his pajamas. "You're Seth Lansing, and why are you talking to my mommy?" He asked me. I laughed as Monaé groaned. I picked the boy up and began tickling him in his stomach. He had the same smile as Monaé. "Well I was told someone and his brother are my big fans and I wanted to come and meet them." I placed Monaé's son down and Monaé lead him inside. I stood for a second, I didn't know what to do and Monaé looked back at me. "Aren't you coming in?" "You want me to?" "You're the one who said that you wanted to meet my boys and you have your opportunity." I walked in and shut the door behind me.

The boys had the biggest grin as they sat on the couch looking at me and their mom. "Mom? How do you know Seth Lansing?" The older boy asked Monaé. "Well I've been going out with Seth for a while. He's my boyfriend." Monaé honestly replied. "So that's why we're going to the game tomorrow? Cause you're dating him?" "No, that's the main reason. You two love basketball and Seth, so he wanted you guys to actually see him and experience being at an actually NBA game." Monaé looked at the time on her watch and was surprised by the time. "I've let you guys stay up way too late, it's time to go to bed." I could tell they were tired, the youngest one kept yawning even when Monaé lead him to bed. She tucked them both in and gave them each kisses on their foreheads.

"Those are the boys. Happy you finally meet them?" "The youngest one looks a lot like you, he has your smile." "His name is Braxton and the older one is named Braylen." I grabbed Monaé and pulled her closer to me and she sat on my lap. "Those are some pretty cool names, Miss Whitmore." My lips hungered for Monaé's beautiful lips. I leaned in and connected mines to hers. She returned the sweet kiss and she hugged me. "I wanna meet your family." She told me in my ear. I cringed as I heard those words.

TREY:

I sat on the bed in my mom's hotel room here in Miami. She was here because she was forcing me to tell Coach about Keira's pregnancy. "Mom, what if he suspends me for the rest of the season?" I asked. That concerns me, yeah the team only has one loss but what if my benching causes the team to go on a losing streak? "I doubt that, but who knows you're the one who got her pregnant." Mom replied. "I have to talk to Keira, I don't know if she even aborted our child or not." Mom rolled her eyes. "I have a feeling she's still pregnant."

A person knocked at the door and opened it and Coach was there. I took a deep breath as he came in. "Melissa, nice to see you again." Coach greeted Mom. "Hello, Coach Biertmann, it's nice to see you again." Coach sat down in a chair and he looked at both Mom and I puzzled. "So is there something wrong?" "Coach, remember how you told me that taking drugs and getting girls pregnant and getting arrested will get me benched?" I began. Coach sighed. "Which one did you do?" "Coach, my girlfriend is pregnant with my child." I noticed the look of shame all over Mom's face as Coach stayed quit. "Coach.. say something." He was being quiet and it concerned me. "Mr. Biertmann." Mom called out his name. Coach sighed as he walked towards the door. "Trey, you're benched until further notice. I'm disappointed in you." Coach told me right before he left. In anger, I punched the mirror on the door, and watched in shatter into millions of pieces. "Trey Cashmere!" Mom attempted to scold me. "Mom, what am I going to do? I didn't come all this far to become a father or be benched!" "Trey, you have to get through hardships to get to where you want to be. You will get to play soon, just be patient and try to be there for Keira. This is even more tough on her, you never once thought about her feelings and how her parents feel about this. It's not about you anymore and you need to get yourself together, Trey Carruth, you're not going to be an absentee or a come n' go father like Alfred was for you, Trey." I pulled Mom into a hug and started to cry a little on her shoulder. I could feel wet spots on my chest, so she was crying too. I just wish I could talk to Keira, I wish she would answer my texts and phone calls.
