TREY:

My life will change tonight and there's no turning back. My mom, Nayla, Ty, Keira, Coach and my teammates were all here in New York with me. I smiled as Keira held me close in her arms. "You ready to become the rookie of the year?" Keira asked me. I laughed. "I'm always ready. Are you ready to move from Miami?" Keira shook her head. "Miami will always be a second home." "What if the Miami Heat selects me?" Trey asked. I found that to be a joke, he can't be that serious. "I highly doubt that, let's be realistic here." I stated. Trey's agent stood at the door. "Trey, the limo's here, we got to get going." He said as he looked at the time. It's time, it's really time.

Reporters were all over as there were 10 minutes before the draft began. Pictures of me were being taken from everywhere. I hope I look good in these pictures. "You okay?" Trey asked me. Me? He should be worried about himself he's sweating buckets under his suit. "I'm fine, babe. I think the baby's good too." Melissa held both of ours hands as the draft began.

I saw fans wearing jerseys everywhere in the statidum. Saw some of the Bulls, Lakers, Brooklyn and of course the Knicks. Trey is projected to be in the top 5, so his name could be called at any moment. The NBA commissioner appeared and began addressing everyone. "Good evening, welcome to the NBA Draft. All of you players have dazzled us with some of you guys's performance in your college career and now you all want to become NBA superstars. I want to say good luck to all of you and wish nothing but the best."

TREY:

Watching him pull out the sheet announcing the 1st pick made me want to scream. It was so intense I couldn't handle it. My mom patted my hand as I took a deep breath. "The New York Knicks select Rashad McClendon of Syracuse University." My heart sanked, I thought I was going to be the 1st pick. Rashad jumped up and his mom, Karmen embraced him tightly as tears fell from her eyes. I can't wait to see my mom doing that with me. Rashad's family were excited because New York is his hometown, so he's back home.

4 minutes later, the commissioner returned back to the podium. "With the 2nd pick in this NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic select Oliver Sheppard of Duke University." What the hell? What about me?  Keira gave me a concerned look and I looked around at the other players and they were concerned just like me. The commissioner appeared once again and announced, "With the 3rd pick in the NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Clippers select Trey Carruth from University of Miami Florida." I was relieved! Thank God!  Keira got up and hugged me tightly and gave me a quick peck before I hugged my emotional mother. "Mom, don't cry." I told her. "I'm sorry, I'll stop I promise but you're moving to the other side of the country." Mom began crying even more. Kevin came over and patted my shoulder. "Good luck man, I can't wait to play the Clippers." He whispered as I prepared to go on stage. I place a Clippers hat on my head and gave the commissioner a handshake. "Welcome to the NBA, you know you're about to be my favorite player for the first time in a long time. Make a good impact in L.A., give Kobe some competition." He told me as the photographers took photos of us shaking hands.

Keira joined me as I stepped off the stage and boys with Clippers jersey surrounded me. "Trey, you're my new player, we need a point guard." One told me as I signed his paper. "Thanks, you're an awesome fan." I signed a couple more before the commissioner came back. "With the 4th pick in the NBA Draft, the Utah Jazz select Kevin Johnson of the University of Miami Florida."

Kevin stood up and hugged his mother and his sister before he rushed up on stage. I could see a smile on Coach's face as he just seen two of his players be drafted into the NBA. Reporters flocked Coach, grilling him with questions. "I'm ready to go to L.A." I heard Keira say. "Oh really?" I questioned. "I always wanted to stay there." I wrapped my arms around her and said," Now here's your opportunity."

SETH:

"Whitmore, Lansing!" we heard our names being called. Monaé, her sons, her mother and I all stood up. "Come inside." We were instructed. We entered in front of a judge. "How may I help you all?" She asked. "We would like to get married." I answered. "Marriage? Well let us began." The judge stood up and had Monaé and I stand and face each other and hold hands. "We are gathered here for the union of Monaé Lynette Whitmore and Seth James Lansing." The judge began. I just couldn't take it anymore, I wanted to be married and I wanted to be married now.
