KEIRA:
"Alejandra, Ashlee!" I squealed through the hallway of LAX as I saw my two bestfriends. "Keira!" They yelled. I ran over and hugged each of them. Tomorrow is my baby shower and I can't wait. I've been watching Monaé, Lacey and Melissa put together my the affair and I'm so blessed to have them. "Oh my gosh you're so big now!" Alejandra cried. Great. Here we go again. This already happened with my high school friends a couple weeks ago. Ashlee quickly hit Alejandra's shoulder. She knew I can be sensitive when it comes to my weight gain. I've never gained so much weight in my life. I use to be like 135 pounds and now I'm 173 pounds.
"So how's L.A?" Ashlee asked as I lead them to the SUV. "It's always sunny out here. And of course there's paparazzis everywhere." Yeah, I'm use to them and I don't care, but Trey isn't so it's been a difficult transition to them. "I don't get why paparazzi sit there and follow you around for one damn picture." Alejandra said as one paparazzi got closer to us and began taking pictures of me. "Get the fuck out of my face!" I shouted as I shoved the camera away. He got back a little, and took one picture before he left me alone. I hate LA paps
MELISSA:
"So you didn't say anything to Trey?" Nicole asked as she was playing with her fingernails. "No, I just told him about Alfred and the lawsuit. I will only do it when you feel comfortable." "I can't believe this is happening." Nicole placed her head in her hands and began crying. "It's alright. I promise everything will get better. Especially once your niece gets here." I assured Nicole. Babies are a joy, and that I know will make Nicole happy. "Yeah I guess." Nicole sniffed.
Melissa noticed all the news on her phone and of course it was about Trey and Alfred. It won't last for long. Trey hadn't been talking to me like he usually does, but I wasn't going to fret. He knew I hated this business decision, but everything will be fine as long as Alfred doesn't show up to Keira's baby shower tomorrow.

KEIRA:
It was finally my baby shower. I have been waiting forever for this. Everything was pink and purple and there were flowers, cupcakes and teddy bears everywhere. This was truly spectatular. "Do you like what you see?" Monaé asked as she gave Seth, who came in with me, a kiss. "Thanks so much you're the best." I replied, indicating I liked it. "Well I'm going to leave and go join the guys." Seth announced. I decided to let Trey hang out with his friends which included Jesse, his Miami and Clippers teammates, Coach, Seth, my dad, Ty and some other people. But he had to be here when i opened gifts.
All of Trey's family was in attendance and so was mine. Some I hadn't seen since I was little, especially my mom's family. "Wow, Keira you have become such a beautiful woman." One of my mom's aunts complimented me. "Oh thank you." I thanked her. "You'll be a great mother, just like your mom was." I sure do hope so. She was the best and I desire to be like her.
"So how does it feel to be like your mom and be with a professional athlete?" One of my cousins asked. By the looks of it, she was making contact with Trey earlier. This is my baby shower, not some time to flirt with my baby daddy. "It's just like any other relationship. We are commited and happy." I replied, emphazing commited and happy. My cousin rolled her eyes and skimped away.
Before I knew it, it was time to open gifts for my daughter. Trey arrived and he joined me. "This is from Seth, the boys and I." Monaé said handing me the gift. I tore off the wrapper and a box with a stroller inside appeared. Just what we needed! I still have to get a crib and a car seat. "Thanks you guys." I told Seth and Monaé. "No problem anything for you and my niece." Seth said. Melissa handed me a gift. "This is from the LA Clippers." She said giving me the bag. Of course it was filled with clothes with the Clippers logo on it. "They're so nice." I said to Trey who just shrugged his shoulders. He didn't care.
"This is from your parents." Monaé gave to me. Dad wasn't here cause he was covering the college football camps and Lacey was here, but she ended up having a gig to do, so it was just London here with our grandma. I opened the bag up and it was filled with diapers, bottles, bibs, clothes, shoes, and of course knowing Lacey she had earrings. Who even said I was going to pierce my daughter's ears as a baby? Alejandra came up to me and passed her gift to me. "I'll open this one next." I told Melissa and Monaé. Trey helped me open the gift. It was a long knitted blanket and some clothes. The blanket was beautiful, a mixture of colors that I love like purple, pink, yellow, orange and blue. "This is beautiful!" "My grandma made it, she always knitted things for the grandchildren in my family, so she didn't mind doing one for my goddaughter." "Goddaughter?" Trey whispered. I elbowed him in the stomach. "Shut up." I mumbled.
We went through the rest of the gifts, which was mostly clothes, shoes and diapers. There weren't any other ones there, so I guess it was the end of the baby shower. "I guess we should start thanking everyone." Trey said as he got up. Before he could say something. The back door opened and I heard a voice i recognized. "Well I hope I'm not too late, but I have a gift for my granddaughter." Yeah I was right. That voice. It's Alfred.
