KEIRA:
The flashes from the cameras made my eyes weak, but still I continued smiling as my dad, Lacey, Seth, Monaé and I posed for the cameras. Smile Keira, smile Keira. "Seth! Seth! How does it feel to be engaged?" A reporter for the Associated Press questioned to Seth as Monaé showed off the 18 carrat diamond ring that was the engagement ring. I couldn't help to roll my eyes. They want to get married in July! "It feels great to have someone so commited to you. My fianceé is great. I'm the luckiest man in the world." I overheard Seth reply.
"Keira, congrats on your pregnancy." Another reporter said. "So are you and Trey excited about you guy's first child?" Last night Trey decided it was time to reveal that I was his girlfriend and I agreed with him. It was time, I mean eventually it would come out. "We're happy, my dad needs a little baby to keep him company. London's getting big now." I joked before Seth grabbed me and had me follow him inside.
"What's your problem?" I asked Seth. "The media doesn't need to know all of our business." Seth responded as he became reunited with Monaé. Before I thought they were the cutest, but now everything about them disgusts me. I wish Trey was with me.

TREY:
Kendrick Lamar. He sure is the best. I was blasting his music to keep me calm. This was the biggest night in my entire basketball career, this was bigger than winning the state championship back to back. "You ready?" Kevin asked as he was stretching. "I'm good. I just want to play already." Tonight it is all about me, the hoop, the ball and my baby. "Is Keira coming?" Shawn inquired. "Yeah, her and her father." Just thinking about Mr. Lansing gave me nightmares. He's one of the strongest motherfuckers in the world. I can see him riping me into pieces. I bet he has in his mind. "Does Mr.Lansing still hate you?" I heard Kevin ask me. "I hope he gets over it." I mumbled under my breath.
My phone vibrated and a smile was on my face. My mom sent a text, people had left baby things at home. Since we still don't know the sex, they brought unisex clothing and some bottles. I can't wait to tell Keira, she'll be excited, for once she'll be happy. "Guys, let's start going onto the court. It's game time in 15 minutes." Coach announced as we all got excited.

20.00. First Half. The band played the Star Spangled Banner as the entire arena was on their feet. For afar, I could see Jabari Caldwell's eyes on me. I don't get why Jabari dislikes me. How do I know he hates me? I see the tweets, I watch the interviews, Jabari acts like he's the supreme god of basketball and I'm some wannabe. But analysts are the ones who declared me to be the best. I was #1 last year while Jabari was #3.
After the band finished I heard Coach yell out the name of the plays. The offense play was another one we seldomly use, but it's just like the one we used against Duke the time before. Then defense is man to man. "Good luck." Shawn and I both said as we went around greeting the Duke players. I let out my hand for Jabari to shake, he gave me a couple glares before he actually did it. "Good luck Carruth." He told me as the buzzer went off.

15:00. Duke, 4. Miami, 6. I wrestled for a rebound from Jabari. He wasn't letting go and neither was I. "Let go!" One of the refs yelled before he blew his whistle. "Foul on #14, Miami!" A foul? For what? What did I do? "What the hell is that?" I heard Coach yell as he started walking on the court. The assistant coach hurried and pulled Coach back, we don't need any technicals.
My mind raced with thoughts as Jabari stood at the free throw line. I really hoped he would miss this. I could see Eli sitting in a wheel chair next to Coach. He kept his promise he came.
