KEIRA:

"Trey, will you please answer your phone! This an emergency, you need to answer!" I just finished leaving my fifth voicemail, his father, his father knows where I live. Trey told me to stay away from him, but how can I if he knows where to find me? "You seem shakened, are you okay?" My cousin Bianca asked me. "It's crazy, he knows where to find me. Trey told me he didn't know we were dating." I answered. The press knows Trey's girlfriend is pregnant, but they don't know that it's me.

"Maybe Trey told him about you." Bianca stated. But why? He hates Alfred, he's told me that he doesn't want his child around Alfred. "No, or maybe someone is going behind my back." I accused. It's happened before. My phone finally ringed and it was Trey. "What's going on?" Trey sounded frantic on the other line. "I don't know how and why, but your father just left from over here." "What? How did he.... What did he say to you?" "Nothing, I refused to talk to him, but Trey, how did he know?" "I have no idea, i'm so sorry babe, but I have to go, the team has a interview." Trey began to rush off the phone. I didn't like that, I've been waiting all day to talk to him, and he's acting like that. I sighed. "Ok, bye, I love you."

TREY:

That motherfucker went to my girlfriend? Just because I won't talk to him. He must have lost his goddamn mind. "Is everything alright?" I heard Coach asked me. "Yeah, just thinking about some things." I replied. "You excited about being a father?" I nodded. "A little nervewrecker, but once the baby's here, nothing else even matters." Coach had a smile on his face when he was thinking about something. "You know I was in your place when I had my firstborn." Coach began. "Except I was a basketball player going to the NBA straight after high school and my girlfriend got pregnant unexpectedly before the draft." "How did you manage it?" I asked. "It was hard, you know, being away and I don't know if the baby is okay, my wife, it was difficult, but once I saw my son, my life changed. I felt like a new person." Coach replied. It was somewhat comforting that someone understood me, but still, I'm not calm.

Final Four. Indianapolis, IN. 10:00pm.

Rashad McClendon received the ball on a bounce pass and he charged into the paint. Another 2 points. Syracuse lead 68 to 70. 21.4 seconds, 4th quarter. Shawn passed the ball to me as I dribbled down the court. I got to come up with something. Before I could even do anything, Rashad McClendon ran towards me and managed to steal the ball. Damn! The crowd let out screams as I fouled Rashad before he could make a shot.

My team all gave me death glares while McClendon eyed me closely. McClendon had been quiet in basketball, people hardly knew about him until this season. Well I knew him, we played against each other in AAU basketball. He announced he was entering the draft, he'll probably go to Sacramento or Orlando. Rashad attempted the shot at the line, which he missed. I let out a sigh as I looked at McClendon. If he really had a made that, my team will kill me. Another shot was attempted by McClendon, he missed that too. Screams erupted as I got the rebound and ran down the court. No ovetime! No overtime! I stopped far behind the 3 point line. Syracuse let out screams to distract me, but it wasn't good enough. I made it.

0.0 was on the clock as the final buzzer went off. I hustled over to Syracuse as they prepared to congratulate us. "Good game, Carruth. You've definitely gotten better from 9th grade." McClendon congratulated. "You were great too, I'm proud of you." " Thanks, and congrats on your baby, and I'll see you in June." The championship game. I can already see the trophy in my hands. Miami vs. Duke, it's definitely going to be the clash of the Titans.
