Two and a half months later

The last two and a half months have been insane.

Bella gave birth to a little girl and became a vampire. They named the kid Renesme. Stupid name, I know. Bella surprisingly has a lot of control for a vampire. Nessie (that's what I call Renesme) grows unnaturally fast. She's already the size of a human seven year old. She's half human, half vampire so she grows super quickly. They don't know if she's going to stop aging. One of the Cullen's cousins saw Nessie and thought she was a vampire child, which is apparently one of the vampire rules that you can't turn a kid into a vampire. Then the pixie Cullen had a vision that the Volturi, the vampire rulers/overlords/ leaders, whatever the hell you want to call them, found out about Nessie and they're supposed to come fight us sometime this winter.

So that's what's going on with what's supposed to be my mortal enemies.

JJ on the other hand, isn't doing so great. After she and Lily started talking again and the boys joined my pack, everything was good for a little bit. But then it was like a light switch, JJ just wasn't the same. She pushes me and everyone else away whenever we try to help, she's quiet, she's just existing; not living. Even Rosalie can't get her out of her shell. I'm always there for her. I make sure that she knows she can talk to me and that I'm always here for her. When I remind her, she'll just nod and say,
"I know."

Right now we're at the Cullen's house, planning for when the Volturi come. Vampires from all over the world are here to help us fight them. There are some freaky vampires here. They all have different gifts.

JJ is sitting next to Lily, resting her head on Lily's shoulder. I gaze at her sadly.

"We need to convince the Denali's that Renesme ages." Bella says, "I can take her to Alaska. To convince them."

I think about it. It would be nice for JJ and I to get away for awhile.

"JJ and I can go with you." I offer, looking at her. She looks at me sadly.

"Are you sure?" Bella asks JJ.

She nods, not saying anything.

"Thank you so much. We'll leave tomorrow."

Bella gets up to go feed Nessie and Lily leaves the room to go find Embry so JJ and I are the only ones left in the room. JJ walks up to me and I hold out my arms. She crawls in my lap, resting her head on my chest.

"You okay with going tomorrow?" I ask her softly, rubbing her back up and down.

"I want to get away from her for a little bit." She says gently.

"How about once this is all over, we leave here, just the two of us? We'll get the hell out of here from Christmas break and we run away after graduation." I suggest.
