How can we not talk about family when family's all that we got?
Everything I went through you were standing there by my side
& now you gon' be with me for the last ride
It's been a long day without you, my friend
& I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
We've come a long way from where we began
Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I see you again

Justice:

Three and a half weeks later

"Lily, I promise everyone will be okay." I tell my best friend.

"How do you know?" She says nervously.

"Because, we've been through a lot. This is nothing." I tell soothingly, her rubbing her arm, "Just trust that the boys can handle this."

Lily is due in 4 days. She didn't want to know the sex of the baby so we're all stuck waiting to find out. Django is at the vet, in boarding because I didn't want to deal with pack drama and a dog at the same time. All the girls and I are hanging out at my house while Jake, Sam, Jared, Paul, Seth, Embry and Brady are chasing off the other pack. Leah, Quil, and Colin are staying here with us to protect us in case of emergency. Mainly to protect Lily.

"What's going to happen?" She asks nervously for the millionth time.

"We'll hang out here for a few hours and then the boys will come back and everyone will be okay. Then in four days, you'll pop a mini Embry or a mini Lily out of your nasty bits and we'll all live happily ever after." I tell her nonchalantly.

"Okay. We're going to be okay." She tells herself, holding her belly.

"Lil, you have to calm down or you're going to go into premature labor." I tell her.

She's hyperventilating.

"Embry!" I call.

Embry races into the living room. When he sees the state Lily is in, he holds her close and whispers something in her ear. Her breathing visibly slows down and her body composure calms down.

Right as Lily calms down, my Jake walks in. I smile faintly to him and walk up to him.

"When do you guys have to leave?" I ask him.

"In about an hour. I'm not really concerned about this. They're a much smaller pack and they're not good fighters. They're all bark and no bite." He smirks confidently.

I smile back and rest my hands on his bare chest, "Well it's my job to be concerned. So be careful."

"Yes ma'am." He smiles, bending down to kiss me.

"Dinner!" Emily yells.

She's even less concerned than I am. She's acting like it's a regular day.

We all sit down and eat. Small talk is made but other then that, it's pretty quiet. Claire makes a point of making a mess. I think it's because she knows she's not going to be the baby of the pack pretty soon.
