Hey! I'm sorry that I didn't update over the weekend. I had my school trip to Washington D.C and we were supposed to fly home yesterday but our flight was canceled because of a snow storm. Since I am stuck in a hotel room all day I thought I could update before our new flight but I don't have much time so it will be a short chapter. Wish us a safe trip home!
AUDREY'S P.O.V
"Everybody up!" I heard Gally's voice
I groaned but didn't get up. Minho's arms were still around my waist and I was facing the wall.
"Now! Get up right now!" Gally yelled
Minho moved but didn't get up either. I assumed he was awake now.
"Do we have to get up?" Minho asked with a tired voice.
"No" I replied
For a few more moments we laid in silence but when the door to my room opened the silence was broken.
"Pretend your asleep." Minho told me too quietly for the person to hear.
We could here the person's footsteps. Whoever it was they were mad. They stomped The ground and moved quickly. The footsteps continued until they were right next to Minho. Suddenly Minho jumped and cried out in pain. He immediately jumped up and I could hear his fist make contact with someone else. I sat up and looked. Gally was on the ground groaning and holding his face. Minho had a hand on his lower back
"What did he do?" I asked Minho.
"He kicked me!" he said getting mad again
"Calm down minho!" I told him.
Gally stood up and looked at us.
"You'll regret that Minho. I'm in charge now. Alby's dead and someone has to bring order back. You listen to me or you get punished." Gally yelled
"Who would ever put you in charge?" I asked laughing almost.
"I happen to be a pretty convincing person." Gally responded. I still wasn't convinced. "If you don't support me then you can just be punished with Thomas and the other girl at sundown. Your choice." Gally said as he walked out of the room.
I looked at Minho puzzled. "What the bloody Hell does that mean?"
He shrugged in response.
"He can't do anything to us." Minho said
"What does he mean by punished with Thomas and Teresa?" I asked and again he shrugged.
"Lets go find Newt. See if he knows anything."
With that we walked out the door to a destroyed glade.
Everything was burned down.
Everything was ash.
Everything was destroyed.
