AUDREY'S P.O.V.
I glanced at all of the people around me until I found Newt. He was closer to the door. He glanced at me and gave a small forced smile then stepped through the opening.
For a moment I considered not going. I didn't know what was behind that door. For all I knew I could step through and discover everyone who had walked in before me dead. But of course I went. There wasn't a choice. There wasn't anywhere else to go. Minho went first then me.
The door led to a hallway that appeared to be unending in both directions. Pipes and wires were exposed on the gray walls and bright lights hung from the ceiling. Directly across the narrow hall from the door was a thin pedestal with a paper taped to it. On the paper was a sloppy arrow drawn in black marker pointing to the right.
After all of us were in the hallway Newt spoke up. "Do we or Do we not do what the people who trapped us in the bloody maze tell us to do?"
It was a good question.
"I dunno." Thomas said
"I say we follow it." I announced
"Good that." Minho said from behind me.
"Why should we?" newt said "what if they are sending us to our bloody deaths?"
"Then there is nothing We can do about it." I replied "besides, if they were going to kill us wouldn't they just do it? Why would they put is in a maze for years when they could just shoot us or something."
"She's right. If they wanted us dead we would be dead." Thomas said
"Then lets follow the arrow and see where we go." Minho told him and Thomas nodded.
We began to walk in a tight group.
"I'm not liking this" Newt told thomas. Both of them were in the front leading the group.
"Me neither," something feels off"
"Do you remember any if this Thomas?" I asked him
"No I don't" he replied
We continued to walk carefully down he empty hallway. Occasionally the lights would flicker or running water could be heard in the pipes, but we saw nothing that told us where we were or why.
Thomas was right. We didnt know where we were but we could tell.skmethkng was off and it didnt take us long to discover that it was true. A sign hanging from the ceiling with an arrow pointed to a door on the left wall. Someone was lying on the ground covered in blood dead right outside of the door in front of us.
