Chapter 5: WHAT!?

Btw, James is also Quidditch Captain

James's POV:

Evans didn't look exactly happy to see me. You see, the truth is, I like her, like really like her. She unfortunately doesn't like me. I've been trying to get her attention for like seven years now but she has been friends with Snivellus too long. They became kind of enemies last year after he called her a Mudblood. Since then, I decided to stop hexing everyone I saw.

I can't wait to go to Hogwarts! Just one week!

We go to Madam Malkin's and to the Quidditch Supplies Store and Floo back home.

I ask Sirius what he wants to do but he doesn't answer. I go down to the kitchen to get some food. I take some up for Sirius too. I see Mum and quickly jump out of sight. She doesn't like me eating before lunch. I run upstairs and throw Sirius his bread.

He thanks me and then carries on with what he was doing.

I decide to start packing my trunk. I get my Invisibility Cloak and put that in there. Well, it isn't mine but it was my father's, he gave it to me. It has always been a tradition in the family, to pass down the Invisibility Cloak to your oldest child. I also put in a piece of parchment. We haven't finished yet so I won't tell either. I put in my quills and rolls of parchment. I find my Quidditch robes and put those in there. I pack all my robes except for one pair. I leave those for in my bag for on the train. I pack my winter cloak, my red and gold ties, jumpers and socks.

I sigh and realise that this is the last time that I will be packing my trunk to go to Hogwarts after the summer.

~ 1st of September ~

James' POV:

I wake up and see that it's only 7:04 but I'm not tired anymore when I realise that I would be going to Hogwarts and I would finally be seeing Evans again!

I jump out of bed and rush towards the shower before anyone else does. I hate to be the last to have a shower in the morning. I am really wondering how Evans is going to react when she sees me with the HB badge. I think she's going to hex me but well, we'll see.

"Hello Paddy!" I exclaim, when I leave the bathroom.

"G'morning Pr-pr-ongsie!" Sirius yawned.

I went downstairs to see Mickey putting some bread on the table. I thank him and then take place on my usual seat. I decide not to wait for Sirius or Mum. I pick a slice of bread and put on some cheese. I put on a lot because I just love cheese.

After an hour or so, I decide to pack my rucksack for on the train. I make sure to put in my Head Boy badge, a bag of money and a set of robes.

~ 10:30 ~

"COME ON SIRIUS! HURRY UP OR WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!" Mum calls from downstairs. Sirius is taking a lot of time, probably doing his hair.

He finally comes downstairs with his trunk and bag.

We Floo to King's Cross and go to the barrier. The first thing I see is a bunch of fiery red hair. Evans! My favourite red-haired, probably one of the only red-haired people I know. Except for Molly Prewett and Arthur Weasley.

"Well, hello Evans!" I greet, I already know the answer but she's alone so I don't mind.

"Ugh, you Potter!" She grunts.
