"Hey James!" I greet my secret boyfriend as he enters our common room.

"Hey Lily!" James replies, looking at Marlene.

He usually calls me Lils in private but because Marlene's here, we don't want her to know our secret immediately. I am planning on telling Mary before she leaves but no one else.

Marlene eyes me and James but doesn't say anything. I just smile angelically at her and she just ignores me and looks at our collection of developed pictures.

James smiles at me before he leaves for his room. I look at the pictures too and laugh as the one of me with a piece of cake smashed in my hair by Marlene catches my eye. I show Marlene the picture and she joins me with laughing.

"We should definitely do that picture on the cover!" Marlene jokes.

"What? NO!" I disagree.

Marlene just laughs and picks out another few pictures on which I don't look exactly great. I decide to do the same for her and the protests when I start putting glue on the back of one.

"I'm hungry!" Marlene suddenly announces.

"Now you mention it!" I reply, realising that we missed lunch and it's only four o'clock.

"Thank you Lily for agreeing but do you manage to know a way to get some food?! Probably not!" Marlene says sarcastically.

"Actually I do," I smirk.

"Oh really?" Marlene asks doubtfully.

"JAMES!" I call from downstairs. He sticks his head out of the doorway after hearing his name.

"Yes??"

"Can you come downstairs for a minute?" I ask, a little impatient.

He walks down the stairs and puts his hands in his hips, just like I am.

"What's your problem?" he asks.

"Can you get us some food?" I ask as I hear my stomach rumbling.

"Really Lily? Is that what you call a very busy boy for?" James says as if it isn't his problem, which it actually isn't.

"Pleaseee James, we didn't have any lunch!" I reply, pouting my lips.

"Ugh fine!" he finally gives in.

He leads us downstairs. Marlene looks at me very confused and I return her an equally confused look. We just follow James as he leads us down more and more staircases. We stop in front of a painting of fruits. James tickles the pear which laughs in return. James pulls the pear and the painting opens, just like the painting of The Fat Lady.

"Well ladies, welcome to the kitchen!"

"Wow!" Marlene and I both stare in awe.

"Hello Master James, how can Hokey help you?" a small House- Elf asks James.

"Well Lily, Marlene, what do you want?" James asks us.

"Just two sandwiches please," Marlene says while I'm still thinking.

"I guess you'll be fine here alone?" James assumes, looking at me.

"Yes, thanks James!" I thank him.

He leaves so Marlene and I are alone in the kitchens. I ask Hokey the House-Elf something to eat too and he runs off to get us something. After a few minutes he comes back with a few other Elves, who all have big smiles on their faces, with our food.

"Thank you so much!" I thank the Elves.

"It is our pleasure to serve Miss-"

"Lily," I fill Hokey in.
