"How did you get hit by the Bludger? Weren't you paying attention?" I confront James when he's clean and dressed."I guess, I was probably looking at you, your beauty stands out a little bit, " James says to which I slap him playfully.
"Oh shut up," I take his hand and we continue walking back to the castle.
"Shall we wait in the common room for the rest?" James asks, changing the subject.
"Yeah, sure," I reply, letting him enter the castle first.
"But are you okay or do you need to go to Madam Pomfrey?" I ask concerned.
"Nah, I'm fine," James says.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes Lily, I am," James says a little harsh. He sees the hurt in my eyes and realises that he had replied a little too harsh.
"I'm so sorry Lil, I didn't mean to say it like that," he says immediately, stopping and giving me a hug.
"It's fine," I smile and hug him back.
We carry on walking and we soon arrive in front of the Fat Lady, who asks us the password. We tell her and she lets us in. James immediately lays down on the sofa and I just walk around a little, putting some things back in the place where they should be.
"You never fail to amaze me Lils," James laughs at me cleaning up the mess I didn't even make.
"Except for Transfiguration," I return, laughing.
"Well, you have improved," James remarks, thinking of the last Transfiguration class.
"I guess so," I reply, sitting down next to James.
"How long will it take before the rest arrives?" James wonders, looking at his watch.
"I really have no idea," I say honestly.
"Neither do I," James says, closing his eyes. I know he's still in pain but I decide not to say anything.
"Just two weeks until Christmas!" I decide to change the subject.
"Yeah, two weeks!" James says, opening his eyes again.
"I hope to receive a letter from home quickly to say that I really can come home," I say, wondering why Mum and Dad haven't written very much this year. Probably because they're too busy with Petunia and her ugly boyfriend.
"Why don't we do something tonight with my friends and your friends?" I suggest.
Before James can say anything, the door bursts open and the Gryffindors come in, cheering loudly.
"WE WON!" Sirius shouts loudly, giving me a little headache.
"Well done! I'm glad the huge amount of training wasn't for nothing," James smiles, standing up and giving Sirius a high five.
"You should have stayed, it was really fun because Regulus was forced to stop because of the Bludger he hit, throwing you off your broom," Sirius laughs.
"Hey Pad, why don't you and the rest come to our common room tonight to celebrate, Lily's friends will be there too. If you get some food and drinks, it'll be fine," James tells him.
"Yeah! Sure! What time?" Sirius asks.
"What time Lily?" James asks me the same thing.
"Around nine?" I suggest so James can maybe rest a little before they all come.
"Sure," the two 'boys' reply.
"Hey Lily! There you are!" Marlene squeals, approaching me.
"Yeah," I reply, just standing there and watching two of my best friends approaching me. I'm wondering where Alice is but I think she might be with Frank.
