Ever since Hallowe'en, I've really grown to like James. Like a really good friend though, not as a boyfriend if that's what you think, I guess. Dorcas apologised loads and loads of times for leaving me but after I assured her that I eventually did have a good time, she finally stopped with apologising."So, Lily? How is everything?" James asks as he enters the common room.
"Fine! And how was your Quidditch training?" I reply.
"Well, wet!" James says, water dripping from his clothes and his hair.
"When is the first match?" I ask again, concentrating on my homework again.
"In three and a half weeks, after Hogsmeade visit and one week before Christmas," James replies, taking off his wet robes.
"And who are you playing against?"
"Slytherin so that's why I'm having training five times a week. You wouldn't mind helping me with my homework would you?" James answers, looking hopeful.
"Course, what don't you understand?" I ask, finishing my essay.
"Not now, but I'm not exactly sure if I'll be able to finish all my homework in a week," James says, biting his lip.
"I'm only doing this because I hate the Slytherins, so you're in luck!" I laugh. I don't want Snape or Regulus or any of those Death Eaters to win.
James goes to the bathroom for a warm shower while I continue with my homework.

"So Lily, how are you and James?" Marlene asks on one cold and wet evening.
"Oh we're fine," I reply.
"No, I mean with your relationship!" Marlene giggles. Oh! When Marlene giggles, there's something going on!
"What's going on Marly!?" I demand.
"Umm, you know Sirius?" Marlene asks dumbly.
"Uh, duh, he's been in my class for seven years now so no, I don't know who he is!" I say sarcastically.
"Oh, sorry, well, I'm dating him now," Marlene whispers.
"What!" I exclaim, spilling ink over the whole table.
"Shhh!" She cries, turning red.
"What?" James asks, as he enters our common room.
"Well, our Marly here ha-" I start but Marlene pushes me of my chair, causing me to fall onto the floor.
"Ouch!" I exclaim.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Lily!" Marlene apologises immediately. James also runs over to me to see if I'm okay.
"It's fine, just-" I say as I feel on my head. 'A little bit of blood" I continue as I see quite some blood on my hand.
"We have to get you to Madam Pomfrey, she'll be able to Heal it!" Marlene gasps.
"NO! I'm fine!" I insist. I don't think Madam Pomfrey would want to see me again, so soon.
"Okay Lily, what you want," James says.
"Thank you James, for the first time in your life, you're making some sense!" I joke.
"Ouch!" James says, faking to be hurt.
"But what were you saying Lily?" James asks, helping me from the floor.
