(still James's POV)

I wake up to see that Lily has not yet awoken. I move a little bit so I can sit a little more comfy, not that the hospital chairs are very comfortable, and I get back to the habit of stroking Lily's hand. I don't know why I'm doing it but it kind of calms me down, I guess.

Just as I think of the silence in here, the door opens and I hear two girls screaming.

"Lily!" Alice and Marlene scream.

"Shhh!" I shush them, because I don't want Lily to wake up yet.

"James Potter! Tell us what happened! What did you do now!?" Marlene spits.

"It would be more kind not to confront me with something I didn't do, thank you! She was poisoned and I don't kn..." I start but then realise something. Who did poison Lily!?

"I'm sorry Ja-Pot-Ja ugh, I'm sorry," Marlene apologises, now in a softer voice.

"Can you please tell us what happened?" Alice asks.

"Would you mind if I wait till the rest comes here, then I can tell you all in one time, instead of having to tell you all in groups?" I suggest, knowing I'll probably break down or something.

"Okay, are you going to get them?" Marlene asks again.

"Would you mind to?" I ask carefully, not wanting to make her angry but I don't want to leave Lily.

"Alice, you can go, maybe you'll see Frank on the way!" Marlene says, already shooing her away.

Alice runs out of the Hospital Wing and seconds later, Marlene pulls up another chair for herself.

"You really still like her don't you?" Marlene asks.

I feel that I'm turning a little red, "Umm, yeah, I do."

"Deep down, I think and actually know that Lily likes you too, Lily just doesn't like to be pushed to much," Marlene blurts out.

"And that's why I'm not pushing her, I know she likes and needs her space," I reply, my cheeks returning to their normal colour.

"Can I tell you something?" Marlene whispers.

"Um yeah, sure," I answer awkwardly.

"Can you promise not to tell anyone, especially not your friends?" Marlene asks again, fiddling with her thumbs.

"Yeah, I promise," I say, now more confident.

"Well, umm, IkindoflikeBlack," Marlene blurts out, without me understanding anything of what she said.

"Would you mind repeating that?"

"I, umm, I kind of like Black, I mean Sirius," Marlene says, now also really flushing.

"Really?" I say teasingly.

"Oh shut up Potter!" Marlene laughs, giving me a friendly push.

Just as I want to say something, a whole gang enters the Hospital Wing, talking loudly. At the sound of the noise, Madam Pomfrey comes from her office, moaning about the rest and the silence we need to give Lily. I'm surprised she didn't say anything about the amount of people aloud in here.

Lily's friends all gasp and Mary and Dorcas burst into tears. Remus looks really upset and even Sirius looks shocked. Peter isn't here so I can't say anything about him.

"What happened?" Dorcas asks hoarsely.

"Well, it started when we were doing rounds. There was one moment when she was feeling a little dizzy but she said she felt fine after a minute or two. After maybe an hour, she looked really pale again but this time she started whimpering. I wanted to help her but I didn't know what to do. Suddenly she started screaming and sweating. It looked like she was in loads of pain. She also started making sudden movements and after a few minutes of screaming, she blacked out. I hurried her to the Hospital Wing and I hope she's alright," I explain, whispering the last part.
