Chapter 5 "The Answer."

"Dad," She begun,
"said," She paused again and looked at her feet.
She better spit it out.
What?
I can be rude if I want.
Thai girl is the one who's taking forever to spit out the answer!
Before she finished her long, slow sentence her mother attempted to cut in.
"Oh, sweetie I'm  s- ".
She was cut off by Lisa.
She was fully cheered up now as she screamed the answer her father had truly given her.
"Yes! He said yes!" She said cheerfully and excitedly.
"That's great!" her mother exclaimed as she began walking over to Jim.
"How much would it cost for the multicolored eye kitten with the white fur over there?" She asked Jim. "I'm in a good mood for some reason today so... I'll say about $200. She's originally $700. " Jim quickly added when he seen her face.
"Okay ..." ,She paused to read his name tag ,"Jim." "Yes, that is my name, and you are?"Jim asked Lisa's mom.
"Missy." She said while reaching through her wallet to get the money.
"Can I get you anything else Missy?" Jim asked.
"Yes. I'll need ... A carrier, cat food, toys, umm a cat bed and a food bowl. Oh and a water bowl and a scratching post please."Missy said kindly.

"Do you have all that." She asked Jim as he looked confused.
"Yes... I think? Umm I mean, yes. They'll be out soon." He said while going into the supply room.
Lisa walked over to me as I backed up into the corner of my cage.  I began to play with a toy in the corner of the cage to keep her attention.
She backed away as Jim came back with the supplies.
"Okay, let me grab her and I want you to know that her last owner named her Liela. She's been through allot from what I was told by the guy who dropped her off. Please take good care of her and have fun. Good luck."Jim said while handing me to Lisa who put me into my carrier and we walked out to her car.
I caught a glimpse of Jim handing the adoption papers and the thing that people have to sign their signature.
"Don't worry." She whispered to me.
"I'll take great care of you." She said sweetly.
Her mother paid Jim and ran outside to catch up with Lisa. Then we got in the car and drove away.
I guess this is where my journey begins.
