Chapter 40 "Dixie"

Celeste's Pov
"I've summoned a fox spirit to Lisa for a reason." I say to my visiter.
"Okay, but why is she with my brother?" Deka asks me.
"Oh, that's for him to tell. Not me..." I say innocently.
"Ugh! Fine! At least tell me why you haven't showed us my brother in so long? I really thought he was gone..." She whispered the last part.
I stand up and walk to her. I place my hand on her shoulder as she looks at me with teary eyes.
"Lucy had taken him. She had a vampire at the bottom of the window. He caught your brother when he was dropped down. Lucy wanted your mother to suffer for taking your father away from her. Lucy has always wanted a mate and she fell in love with your father. He didn't feel the same though. When he found his mate, Lucy lost it. She went crazy and tried to kill your mom. Your mother was pregnant with your older siblings at the time and your father almost died protecting his family.
Lucy has wanted revenge since and kidnapped kilo as a baby so he wouldn't know his own family. On his 13th birthday he never shifted. I didn't know why at first but then I seen them give him a pill. They said it was vitamin but I knew it was something that blocks your spiritual animal from contacting you in any way. Including shifting.
I was so mad with Lucy so I decided to fake his death with a cliff and a massive waterfall. Of course I kept him safe though.
The pill just wore off while he was fighting the vampire and you both called for one another." I say to her.
As she takes in all the information I gave her she sighs.
"Until next time, m'lady" she smirks, knowing I don't like being called that with supernatural creatures that I have once called upon to seek for help or guidance.
I'm getting older though and soon I may retire. But I know exactly who to call upon for such a thing...

Of course I'll have to wait about 10 more years until she's even born though.
Adding up all that time it would take almost 30 years to get a new Moon Goddess. Unless I get her at the age of 17. But I don't think her parents would like that very much.
Lisa's Pov
I wake up slowly as my whole body aches. I feel shorter as I go to sit up.
Why am I so low to the ground?
When I stand, it feels as though I was taller while I was sitting.
Confused, I turn and look around my surroundings.
The walls were made from the earths soul with rocks and routes embedded in the wall.
I see the fox kits but for some reason they look bigger.
Everything looks bigger.
I feel as I water droplet lands on my face.
I bring my arm up to wipe it away and gasp.
I scream when I see my hand is now a paw.
Though, the scream more sounded like a yelp.
I dashed out of the den and to the stream. I lower my head and stare at my reflection.
I'm a fox?
Why am I a fox?!?
I trot over to the den to find Willow to ask her about it.
When I get there, I see one figure that shocks me.
It's a kitten. He looks a little bigger than me but around the same size.
He slowly lifts his head and looks to the spot where I woke up from. When he realizes I'm not there, he begins to panic. Then our eyes meet and I know exactly who it is.
We both calm down instantly as I walk towards him.
"Hi Lisa!" I hear flame say excitedly.
I give him a fox-grin as I don't trust my voice to work right now.
I turn back to kilo and nuzzle my muzzle against his fur. We both walk out of the den to find Willow and Milly.

*2 hours later*

We've looked around near the den but we can't find them.
Suddenly I'm snapped out of my thoughts as misty runs out of the den followed by piper. The wind blows on their fur as they run around the truck of the tree. Flame jumps out of nowhere and tackles Misty making them fall and Flame pinning her.
"Hey! That's not fair!" Flame yells just as I see Piper head butting him off of Misty.
I turn my attention back towards the den and see Nira slowly making her way out of the den. When she sees my fox her face lights up. She runs over to me.
"Wow! You're awake! Lisa, Momma's back from hunting. I thought that, maybe you and kilo can come and meet my friends after?" She asks us.
"Of course I would like to see the prince again but I'm not sure how to be human again." I tell her. She nods her head and runs off.
I see Willow slowly coming around the corner with a couple fish hanging from her mouth.
"Hey Willow?" I ask.
She sets the fish down before turning her attention to me.
"How do I become human again?" I ask her.
"Ask Dixie." She shrugs.
Hello, I'm Dixie. I'm your inner fox spirit. You are now one of the few remaining were foxes left in the world. Our mate is very special too! His family is--
She was cut off by someone nudging my shoulder. I growl in annoyance as I turn to look at a shocked mate.
Oops... Haha, I kind of just growled at my mate...
I give him a sheepish grin and turn to talk to him.
"Sorry. My fox was just about to tell me more about your family. I didn't mean to growl at you." I said.
He nods and runs behind a tree.
I can see one paw peeking out from behind the tree and so can Willow.
I see a bright golden and purple light as I see his paw turn into a bare arm. He's clothe less. Then a quick flash of little white sparks dance around in the air and he's wearing clothes.
I see Willow looks shocked and Nira has a confused expression.
I walk behind a tree farther from everyone else and ask my fox how to shift.
She tells me to imagine every detail about my human form.
I closed my eyes and did just that. I opened my eyes to see that I had a cute pink and black sundress on.
As I come out from behind the tree, I feel a tight grip on my arm. I turn around to see who had grabbed onto my arm.
Who I see shocks me.
