Lielas Pov My head hurts from the whole thing about Deka taking over and meeting up with someone. When I asked who she said that I'd find out soon enough. I sighed as my body began to ache. My long whiskers became shorter and my bones shrank. My eyes snap open as I feel myself shift back into my kitten. Something is off though. My paws hurt. They feel as though I walked on them for weeks without stopping. My mouth was dry and my throat was scratchy. My messy fur was now completely clean. As I look around my fur I notice that it isn't as fluffy. My once fluffy fur was now more smooth.

Yes of course it's still fluffy. I just don't know why I feel more different. I head out of the room and don't see Lezly so I head out to the small pond outside her cave. I jump into the water and wash off. I slowly swim out of the water and lay in the warm heat that radiates off of the sun. I smile at the feeling. I'm a little taller now too. I've been outside for about an hour now so I head back in. Lezly is in her cubs room again. I hear her soft voice humming to her cubs as she feeds them. I sit down and eat one of the fish I caught while swimming. I caught two of them. 1 for each of us. I figured the Cubs are to young to eat fish anyways. I'm halfway done with licking the bone clean when Lezly comes trotting over to me with a smile on her face. "Happy birthday Liela!" Lezly says. I smile as I thank her when she sits down next to the extra fish I got for her. "What's this?" She asks me. "A fish" I reply in a 'duh' tone. I hear her sigh as she rolls her eyes. "Yes I know WHAT it is. I meant what is it doing here and where did it come from?" She asks again. "Oh. I caught us fish for breakfast this morning. I hope that's okay with you Lezly." I say to her. "It's okay. You didn't have to waste your time feeding me though." She says. "And you didn't have to waste your time looking after me yesterday but yet you did anyways." I say with a playful smirk on my face. We finish eating in a comfortable silence and head outside to get ready to head back to my camp site. I start off with a trot, then in a sprint and then into a full blown run. Here I come!
Jakes Pov I wake up with a headache from Dakota taking control last night. My vision starts to blur as I go to get up so I lay back down. I roll over onto my side as the pain in my eyes gets to a point where darkness flashes over and I couldn't see for a split second. As my vision came back my body began to ache. My paws hurt and my mouth became dry. I look around and decide to go get water from the river. I reach the river and began to lap the water. I freeze as I see a reflection in the water. The kitten looks a little like me. The fur was a lighter color than mine and my fur was a little rougher as well. My fur was a dark gray, almost black and I had a tiny bit of white fur on my chest. The kitten in the reflection only has the same eyes as me and the body size. As I turn to look behind me I notice I'm the only one there. I also notice that the reflection in the water is me.

^^^Jake^^^ My fur is softer and feels different. Wait, speaking of soft fur, today is Liela's birthday and she's gonna shift with me! We will find out together the moment it happens! I jump in the river and swim around for a few before washing off and drying in the heat from the sun. I eat a fish and look around for Nira. I head back to camp and don't see her anywhere. "Nira!?!?" I call out. It's silent for a few minutes before I get a reply. "Calm down Jake. I won't let anything ruin Liela's day. Oaky?" She says. I nod and trot over to the tree we are gonna shift near. I put extra clothes for Liela in there the other day when I went around looking for some girl clothes. Hey! Don't look at me! It was all Dakota, I swear!
I walk back to the camp to see Nira setting down a few fish and berries. She was putting down a small basket with the berries when we heard a cute little meow. Sure it was cute but it was also powerful. Ahh! Oh no! Is everything set up!?!? I look over to Nira and was about to ask if everything was ready when she nodded her head up and down. I took a deep breathe as I slowly calmed down. 'It's going to be okay' I see Nira mouth too me for reassurance. I see Liela come from the trees as I take in her new look. We both were running towards each other but as soon as we made eye contact it seemed as though the world around us slowed time down and left just me and Liela. It felt as if we were the only ones who existed. We embraced each other in a hug as we spun around as much we could. I laughed as she giggled as we stare into each others eyes. Her multicolored eyes were fixed on my blue eyes. They had a new sparkle to them now. It's as if they sparkles when we saw one another. We stand there, staring with smiles plastered on our faces. As we both took in each others appearances we stand smiling like idiots. Well at least I know I am. When we finish staring at each other, My human whispered the same word as Liela's did...
