Liela is a young kitten who is seperated from her family. She wonders around in search for them. A nice lady, Tara, finds her and cares for her for a few weeks. Tara had an incident and couldn't look after her anymore. Liela was taken to a pet shop...
Lielas Pov I'm walking with Nira when I feel as though there's someone behind me. I turn and look over my shoulder. I don't see anyone but I stop in my tracks. I get this feeling of uneasiness inside my stomach. A flash of silver and black flew towards me. When my eyes finally adjust, I see Serena and Milo in wolf form. Serena nudges my leg and I crouch down. "Hi Serena. How are you?" I ask her. "I'm okay. Thank you. I felt your sense of worry and decided to come check up on you. Sorry I've taken so long though. Me and Milo were busy helping out packs with rouges." She says. I smile and hug her. "Oh. Umm... Can you help us find Lisa. She was kidnapped 3 1/2 weeks ago. Her mate has been out of it without her lately. We need all the help we can get." I say. Serena nods her head. Milo agrees as well. Then we continue towards Nira's den.
I get a sense of another male cat. I begin to panic and shift into my kitten form. I soon see the beautiful stream and the log bridge which we had to cross. Jake comes up next to me and I notice that he has shifted too. Nira is slightly ahead of us and Serena and Milo are slightly behind us.
As we get closer to the den I stop when the sent reaches my nose. Then, I'm hit with a flashback.
* flashback* I'm laying down with bubby in our crib. Big brover and big sissy is watching as I try to sleep. Bubby is almost asleep when gamma comes in and hugs them. Momma and dada are near gammy and I hear gammy say that gamppy is on a vacation to a beautiful place called heaven. "Will Grampy be okay without us? Will we get to visit him?" I hear big sissy ask. Gammy lets a tear fall from her face. "Someday baby. Not anytime soon though. And when Grampa calls for Grammy, I'll go with him. But we will always be in your hearts." She says. I turn to talk to brover. "Bubby, you awake?" I ask. He turns his head and smiles at me. "Yea." He says. "We will always be in each other's heart too. Okay?" I say. He grabs my hand and nods. "Okay. And we will never forget each other either. When one of us goes to the paradise in heaven, we will be in each others heart. Okay?" He says. I nod. "Okay." I reply with a yawn. We fall asleep hugging one another. With our promises still in our heart. Forever to be there and never to be taken away.
*flashback over*
A tear escapes my eyes and I lower my head. Why am I having flashbacks now? Why do I keep getting them at random times? It's never happened before, so Why now? Jake nudges my shoulder and I shake my head. "Huh?" I ask. "You okay?" He asks me. I clear my throat and nod before continuing on.
What's with all these thoughts that are running through my head? Why do I want to run? What's so important that I'd want to run? Where are these feelings coming from? Why do I keep having flash backs of my twin that I didn't know I had until I blacked out? Why'd I black out anyway? Where's Lisa? Is she okay? I hope she is. I don't want anything to happen to her. I hope we can find her soon.
I stop as I hear a twig snap. I turn quickly and see a large man step out from behind a tree that hardly covered him from our view. He was wearing all black and had his hair smoothed back with gel. "Hi prince, Princess." He says as he bows. I tilt my head in confusion. How does he know who we are? "Who are you?" I ask with a slight growl. "Well now. There's no need to be rude here. Let's be civilized right now. Okay?" He says slowly. Jake growls softly beside me. "No. Who are you and how do you know who we are?!" I growl out. "I've been watching you for a really long time. I've kept my eye on you for a friend of mine. She's planned many wonderful things for the future. Though I'm not so sure you'll be around when it happens." The stranger says, completely ignoring the question. Jake growls louder than last time. He doesn't like when others threaten his mate. No one should assault another's mate. That's like asking for a beating. It's just something you don't do.
"Aww shush. Your gonna wake your little friend..." The man says as he holds Lilly up by her scruff.

Her eyes slowly open as she has a pained look in them. I gasp. "Let her go!" I yell at him. He only chuckles. He walks over to the river and holds her above it. Lilly begins to panic. "No! Please! I-I don't know how to swim!" Lilly cries. "Lilly!" I yell. She looks over to me and begins to calm down. "Just look into my eyes. You'll be perfectly fine. Just imagine you were right where you want to be. Don't pay attention to the man. Okay? Can you do that for me?" I ask her. She nods her head in response and closes her eyes. She blocks out the other noises and curls up slightly.
I notice as Lilly calms down. She imagines she's somewhere else. All of a sudden the man hangs her closer to the moving water. He dips her tail in to the freezing water below her. Then stops when he gets half way to her belly. She lets out a scream as she loses her happy place. "Please! Leave Lilly alone. Tell me what you want!" I plead. He chuckles evilly before bringing Lilly out of the water. She has tears running down her face and she shaking. Her fluffy gray fur is now soaked half way up her pink belly. "Name's Tom. I want you Liela." He chuckles as Jake growls at him. "Easy ya over protecting mate. You wouldn't want your girlfriends little sister getting hurt, would you?" He says. I stare at him in confusion. Lilly must have done the same because now everyone's looking at him in confusion. "Huh?" I ask. "Your sister." He says. Okay, this guy was smart at first but now he's just plain dumb! Lilly isn't my sister. "That's not my sister..." We say in sync. Then we laugh at each other for saying something at the same time. Tom growls in frustration before tightening his grip on Lilly's scruff. "She's not?" He asks slowly. We all shake our heads. He face palms his head before an evil grin takes place. "Fine then. You can have Lilly. But you won't have your... Twin!" He growls. I gasp. My twin! He knows where he is!?! "No! Leave him alone!!!" I scream. He chuckles. Again. "Well now, looks like we found your weak spot. If you come with me peacefully then I will not cause any harm to you, or your family." He says. I look around at everyone before hanging my head low to the ground. "Okay..." I whisper. I nuzzle against Jake and run towards the man before Jake can stop me. "Lils! Wait! Please... Please don't leave me..." His voice cracks. It breaks my heart to leave him, but I need to protect everyone I love. It's my job after all. I need to put others first and myself last. Unless it's about my health. I'm a princess. I need to put my people first. I need to think of them. Not me. I'd rather it be me who suffers instead of them. They're innocent. They will be protected under all costs. My people are my friends and family so far. I haven't met the kingdom but I would do the same for them. Trust me when I say I will.
Tom lifts me up and puts me in a cage. He puts a padlock on it and puts the keys down in his front pocket of his jeans. He sets Lilly down and Nira runs over to her as she checks her injuries. Lilly walks with a limp and I notice her back is bloody. Half of her body is still soaked and has dried blood and scabs showing. She's skinnier than the last I saw her. She doesn't look healthy. "Jake. Take care of her. Don't follow us please. I don't want you guys getting hurt. I love you. Bye." I say as a final goodbye. He nods his head slightly before Tom takes me away.
