Chapter 29 "Dakota's Past"

Jakes Pov
I wake up in a field and notice that I'm in my human form.
Dakota, where are we and why are we in your form? I ask my human confused.
Jake, I'll be taking over soon. I'm going to go meet her, okay? Dakota asks.
Okay. Wait! Meet who? I ask him.
Oh, you'll see tomorrow. I'm getting control tonight and blocking you out! He chuckles.
As I'm about to protest everything goes black. Dakota took over...

Dakotas Pov
Finally! I'm going to go meet my mate! Jake doesn't know yet. I feel bad for not telling him but I'm supposed to have more control anyways!
Stupid witch. She took me away from what was mine! Away from my family. Away from my home. But most of all, away from my mate.
Right now I am going to go see how my mate grew. Ever since the spell the witch castes to force me back, I knew who my mate was. So technically in a way, it was a good thing. I'm still mad though. She took me away from seeing everything about my beautiful mate!
"DAKOTA!?!?!!" I hear her yell. As I face her she runs and hugs me.
"You've grown so much my beautiful mate!" I say to her. She giggles as she smiles up towards me.
"Eh. Your not so bad yourself." She smirks. I chuckle at her cuteness. I've missed her so much. The last time we seen eachother was just before the witch castes the spell.

*flashback*
I'm crawling around with little girl mamma says is my friend. She's pretty. I like her too. We're both babies and are only a few months old. But mamma says we are were cats and grow and develop better than others. What ever that means. We can't talk to the adults yet but I hope mommy can hear my thoughts.
I know the girl can. She blushes when I say she's pretty.
"Hewo giwl" I say to her as she crawls over on her hands and knees.
She giggles and answers.
"Hewwo bwoy" she says.
"How's awe you?" I ask her.
"I good. You?" She says.
"I good tow" I say back.
"Dat good" she replies.
"Sit?" She asks me. I nod my head and we sit next to each other.
This girl is very adorable. She likes flowers and she also likes to sit next to me. She says we are bestest friends. I agree too.
We yawn at the same time and our mommies come and look at us. They smile and look at each other.
"Aww. They're so cute together." Girls mom says.
I look up at the tall woman and wonder why she's so tall. As I look up I fall on my back and look around confused. Girl giggles and I sit up again.
"Aww I'm sorry Dakota! I didn't mean to make you fall!" Girls mommy says. I giggle as she makes funny faces. Girl next to me laughs along and looks up as her mommy stands up. She's about to fall into corner of the small glass coffee table and I go behind her to make sure she doesn't hit her head.
She falls onto me as I hold her up and her mommy goes to pick her up.
I start to whine when girl leaves room.
"But I wanna pway wit hew" I say.
Mommy looks the way the girl left and calls her mommy back in. As soon as I see the girl I start to giggle. I reach out to go to her but I only pull my small body around towards her. The mommies giggle and my mommy picks me up.
"Emily, I think your son might be her..." Girls mommy says to mine.
"Umm.... But they're too young to know. They have to be 13 to know for sure." My mommy says.
What can't I know?
I wanna know now!
"Let's test this out" girls mommy says.
My mommy nods and walks into another room away from the girl.
That girl is pretty.
I want her here.
Why isn't she here?
Mommy brought me away.
I hear the girl crying and I cry right after.
"Umm, Emily?!" Girls mommy yells.
"Yes Lilith?" My mommy answers, yelling over both our crying.
"She's crying!" Lilith said.
"Yea, Dakota is too!" Mommy says.
"Let's try to feed them or change them. If that doesn't work then we will have to try plan B" Lilith says.
Mommy tries feeding me my bubba but I'm not hungry. I want to see girl!
"Plan B" they both yell from across the house.
Mommy puts me in my crib but I'm not tired! I want to see girl!!!
*2 hours later*
Mommy got aggravated and finally came up the stairs.
"Please can we let them see each other?" She asks Lilith. Lilith nods and then I see girl. We see each other at the same time and stop crying immediately and reached out to each other.
When our mommies places us in the crib together we both hugged each other and fell asleep.
I open my eyes and it's the middle of the night. Our mommies went to bed.
I hear our window open and see a person come in. I high at the silly person. They should use a door.
I hear a glass break and the weird person chants out some words. I hear mommas voice on the other side of the door and start to cry when the meanie took girl away from me. Momma shook the locked door to get in but I seen a blue cloud go around me and girl. I start to cry even louder as I feel pain growing in all my bones.
The meanie took girl away out window and Lilith comes in room and blue clouds go around her.
"Emily don't come in!" She screams as she shuts the door.
Meanie came back and took Lilith away with girl. I lay and cry but then it changes. I feel black surround me as a new sound comes out of my mouth.
I meow as I cry. I feel myself grow smaller and furrier.  My senses heightened and a new force took over.
Hi. I'm Jake! The voice in my head says. Mommy comes in and cries as she sees me. Then the world goes black as my body gave all control to Jake.
*end of flashback*
I see my mate crying and I go to her and embrace her in a hug.
"What's wrong beautiful?" I say to her as I wipe the tears off her face.
"I really did miss you. I just seen the vision of the flashback. My kitten took control too. She didn't want it but she was forced into it. Me and my mother were taken away and put into a house. She could've changed back but didn't. She stayed for me. Dad came too. Mom and dad brought my older siblings too. They were twins. They're a year older than me. They were forced into their forms too Dakota. That monster ours with did it." She says as she clenches her fists by her side.
"She ruined our lives!" She said as her face scrunched together in anger.
"I know, I know." I say as I calm her down. We both yawn and laugh as we finished.
"It happened when we were babies and still happens now!" I chuckle and She laughs.
We lay out a picnic blanket and put some food down.
"When our kittens wake up, we will let them go to each other. They will deal with problems and we will be together." I say. She smiles as she leans her head on my shoulder. I lean my head on top of hers as we both talk and catch up.
