Cameron and I aren't official, but we really like each other. Like a lot.
It was a home game so I drove my car from the parking lot of the school to the parking lot of the field. I just sat in my car until everyone got there.
I ended up grabbing my waters and bag hustling over.
Before the game started my mom and dad were setting together and I see cam walk up.
"Y/n" I hear my mom yell. I run over and she gives me a Powerade.
"Thank you, um by the way this is Cameron, the guy I have been talking to" I said gesturing to the lovely boy walking up.
"But I have to go" I say running back into the dugout.
We are smashing this team today.
By the 5th inning the refs called the game because of the Mersey rule.
We shook the other teams hands and the had our meeting in the dugout.
"Practice tomorrow right after school, we are gonna do a lot of fielding girls. Alright panthers on three" coach said.
"ONE TWO THREE PANTHERS" we yelled as a "break".
When I got everything in my bag including my cleats and my slides put on I walked over to where mom and dad were talking to cam.
"Thank for coming." I told cam. "I'd hug you but I'm super sweaty" I laughed.
"You act like I care" he laughed hugging me.
"I invited Cameron over for dinner" dad told me.
"Oo okay sounds good" I smiled. Cameron took my bag from me and began to roll it to my car with me walking beside him.
"Thank you" I told him. "Anything for you" he said so sweetly.
I opened up the trunk to my jeep and he put it in there.
"You're so sweet" I grinned closing the door.
He chuckled.
"I'll follow you there" Cameron said.
"Sounds good" I got in my jeep and turned my music on like always.
I pulled out into the line of people waiting to leave.
Once I got out I drove home.
My parents were already there and cam pulled in seconds later.
I grabbed my backpack and purse and left my bat bag in the trunk.
He came up to my side seconds later and I walked him through the garage and into the house.
"Hey, Cameron what are you doing here bro" said my brother.
"Just coming for dinner" Cameron replied to him.
"Hey I'm gonna take a quick shower." I told cam.
"Good you fucking smell" my brother said to me. "Language" mom said walking in.
"Did it look like I was taking to you, fag" I said to my brother walking out of the room.
I went and took a quick shower changing into sweatpants and an old softball shirt.
I went out into the living room and sat next to Cameron who was talking to my dad.
"So you model huh?" My dad asked him. "Yes sir but only mainly in the summer so I can have the school year to focus." Cameron replied.
"Since when did y/n get hot models?" My sister says interrupting. "Since when do you think the guy I like is hot?" I came back with.
"Since when did you actually get the guts to admit you like a guy?" She hit me with. "Since I met Cameron" I said.
"You really like him?" My brother walks in. "Where have you been?" I yelled.
"Under a rock" my sister says getting up going to the kitchen.
"Oh geez" I said. "I am sorry cam" I told him.
"It's okay" he laughed. "DINNER" my mom yelled.
She handed us each a bowl of spaghetti as we went by her, then we went and sat in the dining room.
"So Cameron you seem like a good kid" my dad told him.
"Thank you sir" Cameron nodded.
"Call me Joe" dad smiled. Wow this is weird dad never talks to a guy I like like this.
We continued eating and my mom and dad took care of the dishes when we were done.. Which meant they were talking.
I went and sat in the living room with cam and we watched some tv and played with the dog.
"Y/n, Cameron come here" my mom yelled.
We both got up and we went in there.
"Okay so we know that it's like we are making a big deal out of this but this is the first time we have ever one hundred percent approved of a guy y/n likes. But we just met you, I really hope you don't break this, we are okay if you guys want to date" my dad explained to us.
Cameron and I looked at each other.
"Thank you" I said as I walked out.
Cameron came out seconds later.
"So, not that I have the green light from your parents and you have met mine, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked me taking both my hands.
"Yes" I smiled hugging him.
