I was at home puking this morning and Cameron went out with some of his friends.
I felt a little better through out the day and watched some tv.
When Cameron got home at about 4 he was really quiet. "How was your day babe?" I asked.
"Um. Good. But I think we should talk" he said. I gave him a confused look.
"So I think we should break up" he said straight faced.
"What?" I kinda whispered.
"Yeah I just don't think we are good enough for each other I feel like we can find better people" he said.
"What are you talking about Cameron? We have been together for like three years and now you think that?" I asked him in disbelief.
"Yeah. I really thought about it. I'm just not in love with you as I was a while ago. I don't really know why I feel like we can find better people I just do" he sorta explained to me.
"So you just don't want to be with me anymore." I said.
"Yes" he told me with no emotion. I nodded my head and tried not to cry.
I got up and went to the bedroom pulling out my suitcase. I put as many cloths as I could fit into it and then pulled out my duffle bag and throw some of my toiletries in it. In the mean time I'm stumbling around bawling my eyes out. Cameron some to the door an leans on the door frame watching me.
"You know you don't have to leave right now. You can stay until you have somewhere to go" he says. I freeze and turn my head to him.
"Your telling me that you don't want to be with me anymore but I don't have to move out yet" I said.
He nodded his head. "You're fucking crazy" I said stuffing my duffle bag with things.
I take my two bags to my car and throw them in.
I come back in and grab a couple of my blankets and pillows. "I said you don't have to leave because I still care about you. I don't want you to not have a home" he told me.
"Cameron I can't. I can't stay here knowing that you don't love me anymore. It is weird" I said walking out the door.
Eventually I got everything I needed and moved into my brothers house for a couple months. Within the first week I found out I was pregnant. I found myself a small house and just kept going.
I seen a couple guys but I was really focused on work and my baby boy Dakota, kody is what everyone called him though.
He is three now and oh my he looks like cam. His brown eyes, and his nose.
I decided we needed to get some groceries for the week. "Kody we have to go to the store" I said standing up getting him his little vans. "Mommy can we get spatetie?" He asked for spaghetti. "Does that sounds good for dinner?" I asked slipping on my toms.
"Yesssss" he says jumping up and down.
I grab my keys, phone and purse and we walk out the door locking it behind us.
I buckle kody in his car seat and then get in to go. We drove to the local store and we got out. I held Kody's hand and we walked in. I whipped down the seat and handle to a cart and picked kody up to put him in there. I sat my purse next to him and went into the produce.
I got some apples, and bananas, and some grapes. "Mommy mommy cherries!!" Kody said excitedly.
"Alright we can get some cherries." I chuckle. We get some veggies too and walk towards the dairy.
I am debating between coffee creamers and I feel someone staring at me. I turn my head and see Cameron. I don't look for too long. I grab my creamer and put it in the cart and I kept walking forward.
"Mommy." Kody said getting my attention. "Huh?" I asked grabbing a carton of eggs.
"I'm hungry" he said holding his little belly.
"Okay. We will make spaghetti when we get home" I told him as I grabbed a pack of hamburger. "You're the best mommy ever" he said quite loudly.
"Shhhhhhhh" I chuckled as I shushed him. "Mommy?" I heard someone question.
I tune around and see Cameron with his basket. "Yeah." I said as I kept going. Kody was playing with a matchbox car he brought in with him so he was entertained.
"Who's the father?" He asked. Walking up beside me. "You" I said quietly but without emotion.
"What?" He asked looking like he was taken back by what I said. "Why didn't you ever tell me?" Cameron asked me.
"Cause you told me you told me you thought we could both find better people. So obliviously if I wasn't good enough for you why would you want to raise a kid with me?" I asked.
"There is probably nothing I can do or say to make what I said better. After you left I dated girls and partied a bunch and just stuff I shouldn't have been. I am sorry, I really did miss you and I want to give us another try" he explained to me as we sat in the store.
"Hmmm maybe" I said as I nodded and then walked forward to grab some eggs.
"So can I get your number?" He asked me. "Sure" he handed me his phone and I typed it in.
"What's his name?" Cameron asked me walking closer to Dakota.
"Dakota Andrew Y/L/N" I told him running my hand through the Andrews short hair. "Kody is what everyone calls him." I added.
"Hi kody" Cameron said. "Hi" kody said very shy like. "I have to go meet my mom at her house. I will get ahold of you soon. Please please let me treat you to somewhere nice, I will have Sierra watch Kody" Cameron told me.
"I'll think about it" I said. I went to walk away but Cameron pulled me into a hug. "I really hope we work" he whispers in my ear.
I nod my head and then he walks away.
