It starts getting towards dinner time so I decide that I should go wake Kaleb up and see what he would like. I knock on the door.
"Yeah?" He asks sounding raspy.
"Can I come in?" I asked him.
"Yeah" he called back. I opened the door and he laid there on the bed staring at the ceiling.
"What did I do wrong?" He asked me rubbing his eyes.
"Chose her" I told him. He gave me a look. "Okay not a time to joke" I said.
"I just don't know what the fuck that was. I mean yes that is her house and whatever but she cheats on me and then is angry with me" he said with a big sigh.
I sit on the bed next to him. "Just know that you have a place until you get back to where you need to be" I told him.
"Thank you" he said grabbing my hand squeezing it. I squeezed it back and gave him a little smile.
We let go of each others hands. "I got your things" I told him.
"Wow you didn't have to do that" he said sitting up.
"Well she called me and said she wanted you to get it but I didn't want to bother you then" I explained.
"Wow, thank you." He smiled a little.
"Does anything sound good for dinner?" I asked.
"You don't have to buy me dinner." He started to tell me.
"We were thinking pizza. Does that sound good to you?"
"Yeah perfect. Thank you for everything" he said getting up and giving me a hug.
"Hey, you've been by my side since we were in diapers. I'd do almost anything for you" I told him.
I left the room and cam and I ordered pizza.
When the pizza came we all ate together and tired to make it a good time.
Kaleb turned his phone on afterwards and seen all of the messages he has gotten from her.
'Come get your stuff'
'Or send your little bitch over here'
'Whatever'
'Why aren't you answering'
He finally replied back with.
'You can't be mad at me when it was you who made the mistake. You cheated, you kicked me out, you did a lot of this too. Don't be rude to me and my friends when we haven't done anything to hurt you'

The next day he was still upset but seemed to feel a bit better. We talked about it and we decided that he can just completely move in and in and be my room mate. He'll start paying for things eventually.
And if Cameron and I need alone time we can go to his house.
Kaleb is out working and Cameron and I are at home. We laid together all tangled up on the couch.
"Babe" I said getting his attention.
"Yes?"
"Thank you for being so understanding and helpful with all of this. I felt really bad from him, and honestly I'm glad he came to me so I know that he trusts me." I told him.
"Well he's a good guy. That ex of his though. Wow. Anyways I love you too much to say that I wouldn't want you to help out your best friend. And I know he wouldn't do anything so I respect whatever you have to do for him." He explained.
"I love you" I said kissing him.
