It's summer, I just got out of work and now I'm headed home.
My friend Maddy invited me to a bonfire so I'm just going to go home and change before I go.
I ended up changing into jean capris, a hoodie and put on some nikes. I talked to my family for a minuet then left. When I got to Maddy's everyone was already there.
I got out of my car and walked back to the pit. "Hey look who finally decided to show up" she said patting the seat next to her.
"Oh yeah. Sorry, I had to close." I told her. "It's good you're makin that bank" she said laughing. I laughed with her and then she got into another conversation with the guy next to her. There wasn't too many people here. It was just my friends Chris, Hannah, Zack, and some guy named Cameron.
Cameron was sitting on his phone next to me as everyone else was engaged in a conversation.
"Um, hey. I'm Y/N, how are you?" I asked just trying to start a conversation.
"Hi, I'm Cameron, and I'm good. How are you?" He asked.
"I'm good"
"That's good. Wait so you go to school with us right?" He asked.
"Yeah"
"I've never seen you before" he chuckled and put his phone in his pocket.
"Yeah, I just switched this year. And I'm taking a college class so I don't have to be at school part of the day." I explained to him.
"That makes sense, but such a shame." He said.
"Why do you say that?"
"Because you are beautiful. Wish I would've seen you earlier"
I giggled a bit. "Thank you. You're so sweet" I said to him. We got into a bigger conversation and ended up exchanging numbers. We I had to leave he even walked me out to my car.
