So Cameron and I still aren't official. He asked me on a date to the drive in.
Of course I said yes.
I have my absolute best friend kaleb over. We have been best friends since we were in diapers.
He was sitting in my room and I was getting changed in the bathroom. I came out with my jean capris and a white camisole on.
I pulled up two nice shirts. "So I can't decide, should I wear the blue one or the white one?" I ask.
"The white one, and then were your sperrys." He says playing with his phone.
I go and find my sperrys and put the white shirt on. I come back to my room and straighten my hair. "So has Cameron been good to you I guess?" Kaleb questions.
"Yeah, he's very sweet. Um what do you think of him?" I ask brushing out my hair once more.
"He kinda seems like a dick, but as long as he makes you happy" Kaleb said with no emotion. "Oh" was all I said.
I got my purse around and threw my phone in it.
I heard a knock on the door then my roommate Sophia yell "y/n Cameron is here"
"I'm gonna head out you can hang around and eat food or whatever." I said.
"I'm probably gonna go hang out at Connors and crash" he said standing up.
"Why?" I asked. "Because my girl and I are fighting" he said. "Oh I hope it gets better" I said giving him a hug.
I walked out and seen Cameron talking to Sophia in the living room. "Hey" I said.
"Hey beautiful" he said reaching out his hand for mine. "Cameron I want her home at 10" Sophia said with hands on her hips.
"Yes ma'am" he replied as I laughed. We walked out the door and he closed it behind us.
"So what's the plan for tonight?" I asked as he opened the door to his jeep letting me in.
"Well it's a surprise" he said and closed my door. He walked around to the drivers side door. "Surprise?" I asked.
"No we are going to the drive in" he chuckled. "Oooh it's gonna be a good time!!" I said excitedly.
*car ride*
We went and got some candy and then arrived at the drive in.
He paid and we found a good spot. We got out and went around the back where he opened his back door and I seen blankets laid out.
We got in and watched the movie and ate the candy.
He put his arm around me and I moved closer to him.
I was really into the movie when I felt Cameron's eyes on me. I looked over at him and he smiled. "What?" I asked"
"You are so beautiful, I don't know how I got so lucky to be able to go out with you" he said. My cheeks got very red and I smiled slightly.
" I'm so blessed to be with you also, so I guess we are both lucky" I said.
He flickered his eyes back and forth between my eyes and my lips. I put my hand on the side of his face and he leaned in to kiss me.
When we pulled away I smiled at him and leaned in again. We kissed for a minuet and then went back to the movie. When the second movie started playing I started to get tired.
I laid my head on Cameron's shoulder and my eyes slowly closed. I feels asleep within a matter of minuets.
Cameron's POV
The second movie was over and the credits were rolling. I look down and
Y/n fell asleep. I carefully got up and picked her up. Her eyes fluttered open as she looked around.
"Hey do you want to set in the front now that you are awake?" I ask her.
She nods her head and yawns. I walk her over to the door and let her down as she sets in the seat. I clean up the wrappers and close the door.
I get up in the drivers seat and start my car.
Y/n POV
"I'm sorry I feel sleep" I told him.
"It's okay" he said. With a faint smile in the dark.
He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers.
The drive home seemed to go by quick.
When he pulls into my driveway I grab my purse from by my feet.
"Do you want to come in?" I asked.
"Sure" he told me as we got out of the car.
We walked in my house and Sophia was passed out on the couch.
"Alright guess we're taking the party to my room." I said. He chuckled and said okay.
We went down to my room and he sat down on my bed. "Alright I'm gonna change my cloths real quick" I told him as I pulled out a pair of my pj shorts and when to my closet for a tshirt. I found a sports bra and went to the bathroom.
I changed and brushed my teeth then went back to my room. Cameron was laid out on my bed playing on his phone.
I plug my phone in and lay down next to him. "Your bed is comfortable" he said bouncing. I laughed and my bedroom door flew open.
Sophia looked at us and said "the escalated quickly" and walked out closing the door.
"Goodnight to you too" I yelled. "Yeah" she yelled.
"What the hell" I laughed with Cameron. After a minuet it was completely silent and I rolled to lay on my side and I propped my head up with my hand. "So how's life at home?" I asked.
"Well it's pretty good, I'm moving" he told me. "Really? Where?" I asked him.
"Into this apartment in LA." He told me.
"You are moving 45 minuets away?" I asked him. "Yep" he said happily.
"Oh" I said getting a little upset. "What's that matter?" He said brushing a piece of hair out of my face.
"It's nothing" I told him. "No the way you said oh I know there is something" he said.
"It's just, I was really wanting us to work, but now that you're moving does this mean that we can be a thing?" I asked him.
"Wait wait wait... I was planing on letting you come stay with me, and when I came back on the weekends I wanted to hangout with you. And then whatever we do to hang out in the middle is what we do" he explained to me.
"So you were planing me into you moving?" I asked. "Well yeah, I wanted to ask you to be my girlfriend along time ago. But I just got worried because my last relationship was just too rushed and we did things we shouldn't have done way to early" he told me.
"That is so sweet. But you should know I would love to be your girlfriend is you are ready" I told him.
"I think I'm ready" he said
"So we're official?" I asked.
"We are official." He confirmed.
