It was a Saturday afternoon and I get a call from Cameron.
"Hello" I answered.
"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go hang out today?" He asked me.
"Yeah totally what were you thinking?"
"We could go shopping or whatever and get a bite on the way out."
"That sounds good should I meet you somewhere?"
"No I'll come pick you up, when will you be ready?"
"Umm I could be ready in a half and hour" I told him.
"Alright I'll see you shortly"
"Okay bye" I said hanging up.
I went and put on my skinny jeans and one of my (whatever color your schools color is) school hoodies.
I slipped on my white converse and straightened my hair.
I got my purse around and told my mom I was leaving.
He shortly pulled into the driveway and i went and got into his car.
"You look beautiful" he told me as I got in.
"Thanks, I mean I guess you look cute" I smiled.
"Girl I'm fabulous I don't know what you're talking about" he said in a girly voice.
I laughed and he pulled out starting to the mall. He took my hand and held it as he drove.
"Where to first?" He asked as he pulled in a parking spot.
"Hmm, I don't care. Let's roam around" I said as we got out and walked in.
We ended up going to a bunch of stores and we both got some new shoes and sweats from Nike.
"Hey I think I should go into Sephora." I told him. "Why, I thought you had enough makeup?" He asked.
"I need to get some nice makeup though, the concealer I got I just don't like, but I found one here that works perfect." I explained.
"You go a head and go in there but I don't think you need it, I've seen you without makeup and believe me when k say you are so beautiful without it." He said as we stopped by the entrance.
"Well thank you for calling me beautiful, but I'm still gonna get it" I laughed.
"Alright I'm gonna go to another store close by then" he said as we started to let my hand go.
"Okay I'll see you in a few" I told him as I went to turn around and he pulled my back kissing me.
"I mean it, don't get too much of it. You don't need it" we parted and I had to sit there and let it sink in that Cameron, this guy I have been crushing on for a while, kissed me and called me beautiful. I mean I know that he likes me and we have been talking for a while but where does this put us?
I went in and got a few little things. As I waited in line Cameron came up to me and he had an American Eagle bag in his hand.
"Ooh what did you find?" I asked.
"I got myself a pair of jeans and I seen this dress in there that I liked.. So I bought it" he told me.
"Ooh cam you look pretty hot in dresses." I laughed.
He pulled it out and it was a black t shirt dress. "What do you think?" He asked me holding it up to him.
"I like it" I said smiling. "I think it will look good on you" he said putting in back in the bag.
"You didn't have to though" I said as I got up to the counter paying. "I did though." He smiled taking my free hand with his.
We went down to the food court and decided on Five guys, who doesn't like a good burger.
I went and got a table for us and set our bags on an extra chair. I pulled out my phone and scroll through Twitter.
It isn't long before I have food sat in front of me. "Thank you cam" I smiled digging into the delicious food.
We sit and eat and chat a bit in between bites.
When we were done he threw away our garbage and we decided we should just head out and go back to my house.
I text my mom and asked if Cameron could hang out.
Me-hey mom can Cameron hang out with us?
Mom-I don't care we aren't going anywhere tonight
Me-thank you
"Alright let's just go chill at my house" I told him as we stuffed our stuff in the backseat and got in.
When we were on our way to my house he took a wrong turn. "Cam my house is back that way." I said looking confused.
"Hold on" he said as he pulled into a Starbucks. "Damn white girl" I giggled.
We pulled in and parked. We got out and walked in. I seen that our friend kaylee was working.
"Hey kaylee" I smiled as we walked up.
"Hey guys" she smiled as she handed up two drinks and Cameron paid.
"Wait we didn't order ye-" I started to say and then I seen that there was something written on the side.
'Will you be my girl?' I read and looked at the two. Cameron looked worries as it took a second to sink in.
I nodded my head quick and set my drink down giving him a hug. "You had me worried for a second" he chuckled.
"Well you see, I kinda like a lot" I said with a smile as the end.
"Yeah I like you a lot too" he said. We thanked kaylee and went to my house.
We took a selfie with the cup and posted it. Just because it made me so happy.
