Cameron and I are both living together in Cali, and have been together for a while. For Christmas I had to go visit some of my family.
I was at my grandparents house for Christmas, some on my family live all the way up in Michigan so We flew up yesterday and my family and I staying with my grandparents.
I helped her get the house all clean and cook some food. I set the presents I brought out under the tree.
It was about 11 and I got a call from Cameron. "Hey cam" I answered the phone. "Merry Christmas beautiful" he replied.
"Merry Christmas" I said as I walked out of the room everyone was in. "I just wanted to call and tell you that I hope you have a good Christmas Day and I can't wait for you to come home" he explained.
"Thank you, I hope you have a good day, I am flying home tomorrow night" I told him. "I know, I miss you already, I have to go. Love you"
"Oh, okay I miss you too babe, love you, bye" I said and hung up.
I got ready and just threw on some leggings and a sweater and a scarf with my hair straightened.
Everyone shortly started getting to grandparents.
We are our dinner at about 3 and opened presents after that. We all just talked, and are more food.
It was like 7 and I was really surprised my grandma hasn't dished out dessert.
My dad got kept playing with his phone.
There was a knock at the door and my dad got up to get it.
"Y/N we have this present that I had my buddy pick up mad he just dropped it off, come get it" he said from the door.
I got up and went up there. I got to the door and my dad opened it more to see that Cameron was here. "Oh my gosh, what are you doing here?" I asked as I gave him a hug.
Cameron looked at my dad. "I'll leave you two for a moment." He said was he walked away closing the door. I stood outside on the porch as the snow came down.
"I'm here because I love you. Y/n I don't like being without you. I love your beautiful smile, you laugh, the way to walk, the way you talk. I love every single bit of you. And I have realized that I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He said as he got down on one knee.
My hands flung up to my face as I covers my mouth. "I want to wake up next to you every morning, I want to fall asleep next to you every night, I want you to be the mother of my kids, but most of all I want you to have my last name and I want to call you my wife. Will you give my the honor of having you as my beautiful bride and marry me?" He asked pulling a ring out of his pocket.
I started to cry. And nodded my head yes. "Yes, I would love too" I said as tears of joy came down my face.
He slipped the ring on my finger. He stood up and wrapped his arms around me. "I love you so much Cameron"
"I love you so much more than you know" he replied kissing me.
He whipped my tears when we broke the kiss.
"Let's go inside its freezing out here" I said opening the door and pulling him in.
He took off his coat and shoes setting them by the door.
I grabbed his hand and pulled him into the living room. "Look who came" I said as we walked in.
"Y/n is that what I think it is?" My cousin Allyson asked me. I nodded my head.
"Yes Cameron and I are getting married" I said smiling. He smiled too.
"Wow y/n is going to get married before me" my other cousin megan said. We laughed as Cameron and I sat down on the couch.
"So Cameron, you sure you can deal with that for the rest of your life?" My brother asked him
"Hey, your just jealous cause you can't find a girlfriend" I said. Everyone laughed. "Yes I am sure, she has made such a good impact on my life" he said looking at me. "Damn dude, just remember no turning back now or else you won't like me" my brother told him.
"No worries" Cameron replied.
