"At least your dad likes me," I laughed as Rose led me to the stables.
"Yeah," The blonde sighed. "I'm scared of what Ma might say when we tell her." The latter's head dropped to the ground, her feet kicked the earth underneath them absentmindedly
"Hey," I lifted up her chin gently. "it doesn't matter what she says or anyone for that matter. You are mine, got it?" I cupped her cheek and her pink cupid bow lips curled into a cute smile.
"Got it." I leaned in and pressed a delicately kiss on her awaiting lips.

"Her name is Angel." I watched as my girlfriend petted the large animal. "Do ya want to pet her?" Before I could answer Rose's hand was on my own, bringing me to the top of the white horse's head. Slowly she guided my hand down it's perfectly structured face. Surprisingly Angel leaned into my embrace. I looked over to the latter and the look on her face was absolutely priceless: Her bright blue eyes were opened wide, lips curled up in a content smile. She looked stunningly beautiful. And I wouldn't have changed this moment for anything in the entire world.
"She likes ya."

Rose and I walked back to the house hand in hand. "Well aren't ya two cute." David's voice came out of no where. Immediately Rose dropped my hand and we both turned to see her dad, a toothy smile plastered onto his face.
"Dad I uh–"
"Rose, darlin', if she treats ya right. I could care less if you are seeing a woman." David stepped closer to us. "Your Momma is gonna have a fit." He turned to me. "But don't let that bother ya. Evelyn isn't as well.. Open-minded as I am."
"David, sir, I care about your daughter.. And no offense to Evelyn but I won't leave Rose just because she doesn't approve." I grabbed my girlfriend's hand, intertwining our fingers once more. "I would like to tell her now." I turned to Rose. "If that's alright with you?" She nodded in agreement and we both looked to David, who had an even bigger smile on his face now.
"Well lets do this ladies."
