Chapter 29

Only a few more chapters left!

4 months later

It's now July and me and Payton are somewhat talking. It's small talk but I guess it's better than nothing.

"Hey Abby can you get the door for me" my mother yelled from the kitchen

I got up from the couch and walked over to the front door

I looked in the mirror quickly to make sure I didn't have food stuck in my teeth before opening the door.

Standing in front of me was no other than Grayson.

Maybe if I kill him no one will know

"Hey Abby is Payton home" he asked avoiding eye contact with me

"I don't know. Does it look like I keep up with her social life" I stepped aside to let him in

"Payton your douchebag of a boyfriend is here" I yelled up the stairs

"Abby watch you language" my mother yelled

I rolled my eyes

A few seconds later Payton ran down the stairs and jumped into his arms.

"Hey babe you look beautiful" Grayson said.

I'd be lying if I said it didn't break my heart to hear him say that to my sister

"So Grayson is Ethan around?" I asked

He looked up at me "um I think so"

And with that I walked out of the house and headed straight towards Ethan's

the walk wasn't that bad. 10 minutes at the most

I walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell

A few seconds later Lisa (their mom) came do the door

"Hello Payton, Grayson already left to see you"

I chuckled when she called me Payton

"No mrs Dolan I'm Abby"

Her face got red "oh my goodness I'm so sorry, what can I do for you Abby?"

"Is Ethan home?"

"I think he's out back tanning, go ahead around back"

She shut the door and I quickly walked around the house

"Enjoying the sun I see" I said as I approached him

He looked up and squinted at me "hey Abby what are you doing here?"

"Just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out today" I sat down on the chair next to him

"Let me guess Grayson's with Payton and you want to make him jealous"

"Pshh no"

"You're the worst liar" he sat up on his elbows (don't really know how to explain it)

"Whatever, besides I just want to hang out with you like old times"

"Uh unless you count the times you were with Grayson and forced to talk to me I wouldn't say we hung out"

I shoved him "oh shut up and let's go"

"Why do we just hangout here?" He grabbed his shirt from the ground and put it on

"I don't know I just thought we could hang out at my place"

He smirked "yeah so you can make Grayson jealous"

"Not true I just like my pool better"

Wow I really am a Terrible liar

He put his hands up as if he surrendered "whatever makes you happy"
