I DONT OWN TEAM STARKID OR THEIR WORK

The next morning, I wake as Joey and A.J. are shaking my shoulder. "What?"

"Darren just called, Sleeping Beauty. Pat wants us downstairs in like thirty minutes."

"Sh*t. Umm so do we have to wear decent clothes or what?"

"Charlie, it's almost ten already so just let's wear what we need to wear for the sing-along."

So the three of us rush around trying to change into some decent Harry Potter attire to get ready in time.

"I'll be in the bathroom, so you two can do whatever the hell y'all need to do out here," I say as I dump an outfit and my makeup bag on the counter in the bathroom. I change into a white crop top with a high waisted short black skirt. I shrug on a Gryffindor open sweater and tie then tug on my favorite black converse. I give myself a braid crown and do a Gryffindor-red lip with winged eyes with my contacts.

I walk out to see A.J. and Joey lounging around in assorted Gryffindor gear. Both wore sweaters and either a Gryffindor tie or a red and yellow one while A.J. decided to wear a fedora. "You ready Charlotte?"

I grab my bag that basically contains my life. "Yeah let's head out."

Downstairs, A.J., Joey and I find the other guys at a little café. "Good morning sleepy heads!" Brian greets us jokingly.

"Where Darren?" Joey asks as the three of us newcomers sit at the adjacent table.

"He was running late so Brian and I headed down early." Dylan said, guffawing a little bit.

"That jerk! He made me wake up and now he's not even here!" I cross my arms, staring angrily into a cup of coffee that the waitress just poured.

"Hey guys sorry I'm late." Darren walks in followed by Pat.

"Morning kiddos," Pat says. "There's a lot to do today!"

The waitress comes over, takes our orders and leaves us to ourselves. I'm on my second mug of coffee by the time our food shows up. I munch on my eggs, hash browns and turkey bacon as Pat starts psyching us all up.

"All I want is for you all to have some fun. That's all that matters right now. I mean, make the audience have fun too. Are you guys ready?"

"Yes, I think so," Nick says through a mouthful of breakfast. The group of us laughs.

"So Pat," Matt offered. "We had started to discuss some ideas for the music part and we want your opinion." We led Pat through our entirety of stupid notions but she supported them.

"That sounds great, y'all. Let's head out." We all grab our bags and maneuver our way out of the restaurant. "I'm proud of all nine of you for doing this. You are such great people. I would say kids but half of you are old enough to drink." Cue the laughter. "The audience will love you."

Pat leads us through the hotel to this sitting area; I guess you could call it, that's big enough for a good sized group of people. We didn't think we were ready for this. As most of us sit down, I stay standing, shaking my limbs to eliminate some of the nerves and then sipping my water.

"Charlotte, sit down!" Brian grumbles at me. "You're gonna give me nerves." I stick my tongue out at him, but sit down on the floor.

"I'm going to be the semi-responsible one for once and say we should probably warm up." Darren said, hitting a chord on his beloved guitar.

"Mi-mi-mi" I hear really high pitched noises come Eric, Nick and Matt. I double over with laughter.

Through his laughter, Brian asks Pat, "Pat, can you please go to the back and tell us if you can hear?"
