I DONT OWN TEAM STARKID OR THEIR WORK!!!
As A.J. and Joey sat down at the table, I turned to examine the merchandise behind us. There were some really cute shirts. I kept pointing them out to Joey and A.J. until I called Pat and asked her if we could take some and she said for now you can each take one shirt and afterwards we can take more. I passed that on to A.J and Joey then found a spare piece of paper and wrote a message to the groups after us.
I chose a 'supermegafoxyawesomehot' shirt and pulled it on over my outfit. Joey wore a simple one proclaiming 'it's gonna be totally awesome!' while A.J. donned one with the AVPM logo. "These are so cool!" I twirl as A.J. and Joey laugh.
We sit down as people start coming up to buy our merchandise. I worked the money because I was slightly more apt to do it. A.J. was our merchandise searcher as Joey mostly talked to the customer and constantly checked the time.
At one point, a girl purchased a blue headband like the one Joey had worn. She shyly asked him to autograph it and he agreed, shocked but excited. I grinned at him and he stuck his tongue out at me, causing me to laugh.
Soon, however, more people had that idea and the three of us at the booth were signing some merchandise. A girl, no older than thirteen, came up to me, asking if I would sign the shirt she bought which happened to be the same design as I was wearing. As I scribbled out my name, she told me, "When I get to college, I want to be just like you. You're so pretty, talented and appreciative."
"Oh my gosh! Thank you! Can I hug you?" She nodded a smile creeping up on her face. I walk around the side and hug the girl.
A few minutes later, Matt, Nick and Eric show up. I shove the note I had written at Matt as Joey, A.J. and I walk out of our little booth. I got very excited at all the Harry Potter-ness in front of me and, grabbing Joey's hand and trusting that A.J. would follow, I started running towards the far side of the merchandise area. But before I could really drag him too far, Joey pulled me back and put his arms around me while I was facing the other direction still.
"Hold up, Charlie! We'll get everywhere, I promise." He kisses me on the cheek and lets me go.
Calmly, I follow A.J. over to the first booth. We make our way around the tables. I buy a Dark Mark patterned skirt, an Azkatraz tee shirt, a Deathly Hallows head band and infinity scarf, a Ravenclaw sweater and a scarf and a Slytherin baseball cap. Each time I make a purchase, A.J. just laughs while Joey mutters "remind me not to take her to the mall."
In my defense, the boys bought stuff too. I saw them buy like a tee shirt each, a hat and a bracelet or something. I kept noticing that Joey would glance at something out of the corner of his eye but move on, resilient with self-control.
"Charlie?" I look up from the display of wands I was staring at. "A.J. and I are going to the bathroom."
"Okay. Where should I meet you guys?"
"By our booth in about ten minutes." A.J. responded. I nod and they stalk off.
Leaving the booth I was standing at, I race over to the other side to a booth where I purchase two rubber Harry Potter logo bracelets, one black and one white, for my two convention roommates. At another one, I buy a gray Deathly Hallows beanie, a bumper sticker that reads "my other ride is a Firebolt" and simple leather that says "Romione" for Joey's upcoming birthday.
Feeling satisfied, I turn and bump into Eric, Matt and Nick. "Fancy seeing you guys here."
Chuckling, "Where are A.J. and Joey?" asked Matt.
