Are you looking for a book of poetry? Humorous poems, serious poems and all round awesome poems?

Then you'll love the beautifully written poems by @Peacepeapod.

Her book "The back of my head" is filled with amazing poems!

Based on some really random subjects such as garlic!?!? There's even poetry based on a tree, Andy Murray's Wimbledon win and a room. Yep that's right. A room.

I can't give too much away but these poems should have you smiling. :D If not then.... Well.... Each poem is amazing and she really appreciates feedback so get commenting! :D

But there is one poem which from her book which has been declared my favorite. Originally named "The Poem" So therefore "The Poem" is  the Poem of the month.

The Poem is basically random thoughts about how she dislikes the word orange, spongebob is a porous and how she "Thinks" she's a terrible poet and knows it but she's a great poet really. ^_^

Here is a mini interview with the poet who also writes other fabulous books such as A Witness to Beauty, The Inspector and Fish and the newly posted Delicate Dreamer (These are also worth the read :D):

Me(RachelS8766): Hi! So we'll start things off simply by what would you like to be known as?

Peacepeapod: peacepeapod :)

Me:Awesome! So peacepeapod where do you get your inspiration for your poems?

Peacepeapod: I looked into the deep silver waters of a mysteriously isolated highland pool, it was so enchanting and so inspirational that I knew my poetry was calling. :)

Me: Lol. How did the idea for the poem "Garlic" come about?

Peacepeapod: Easy. I could smell garlic :)

Me: :D Any favorite poets or authors?

Peacepeapod: Poe.

Me: Cool. Any advice for other poets out there? What words of wisdom can you offer?

Peacepeapod: Meaning doesn't matter as long as it rhymes.

Me: Awesome. Thanks peacepeapod!

So thats the end of the mini interview. Please check out the poem of the month "The Poem" It's really good! :D

Byyyye! :D
