Hair Professor- Back-to-school part 2
Hey guys! Xxprettychic here delivering you an article about back-to-school hair!
I'ts the end of summer, and unfortunately it's back to school for most of you guys, so I've picked out some cute back to school hairstyles!
#1 Braided flower tie-back
What you need; some bobby pins, a tail comb, 2 or 3 elastic bands, and a spray bottle.
How to do it:
1.Start by parting the hair down the middle of the head.
2. Create a small, Simple Braid on any side of your head and secure it with some elastic bands(you'll need enough braid length to reach the back of the head for the tieback)
3.Once both braids are finished, pull them to the back of your head and secure them with another elastic band in the middle or back of your head
4.Now, cinch the braid up against the head by gently pulling the ends of the two braids apart.
5. Take the end of the tail comb and gently pull out the hair right above the braids to create some volume.
6. Remove both elastic bands from the ends of the small braids, undo any remaining braiding in the strands, and combine your hair together to create one more Simple Braid.
7.Once the single Simple Braid is complete, gently tug on the elbows on only one side of the braid (this will form the petals of your flower).
8.Secure the braid with an elastic.
9.Continue to wrap the hair around and around the elastic, with each layer of hair just slightly under the previous layer. The pancaked edges should be sticking up to create the petals of a flower-shaped accent.
10.When the flower is finished, take a couple of small bobby pins and gently secure the flower in place. Make sure both elastics are hidden.
#2 The Messy Bun
What you need:
*A brush
*A comb
*3 or 4 bobby pins
1. Start with whatever hair you want, wet or dry.
2. Use a brush or comb to brush your hair back and get rid of any partings.
3. Tilt your head back as far as you can so that your hair falls back.
4.Gather your hair into a ponytail wherever you want the bun to be. Put the ponytail on the hair, then twist the hair through a second time, on the second time, don't pull the ends of the hair all the way through -just leave them in the ponytail, to create a bun.
5. Use bobby pins and a comb to play with it - pull a few strands out, pin it so it's more secure, fluff it so it's less secure, whatever. 6. (for bangs only) Tease the front of your bangs, then pull them back and clip them with a cute bow or just a plain pin.
#3 The knotted headband
Items you need:
* 2/3 bobby Pins
* hairspray(optional)
How to do it:
1. start with wet hair
2.You then take as small section next to the part, and divide it in two, and interlace them.
3.After creating your third set of strands, bring the first two strands under the next two, and interlace them again just like the first step of tying your shoe.
4.Repeat these steps until the braided headband has the look you want.
5.Secure the end with a bobby pin and spray with hairspray.
6. When the hair dries, the loops of the knots spread out a little and look absolutely gorgeous! =)
#4 Concealed Ponytail
What you need:
* bobby pins
How to do it:
1.Tame all your hair in a low side ponytail by using some Redken Water Wax which you can get from amazon or ebay.
2. Once your hair is secured into a low side ponytail, take an outside section of the hair and wrap it around the ponytail holder, securing it with one bobby pin underneath
3. And that's it!
#5 The Side Braid
some people say they aren’t good at braiding, so I hope the messy side braid is perfect for you!
1. Throw your hair to the side, take three sections and start braiding! It doesn’t have to look perfect at all!
2. After you’ve thrown a ponytail to fasten the braid together, pull random section of the braid to loosen it and give it a messier effect.
