"NATSU......I--" I could see her blonde hair through falling.

My heart stopped. I love her. I love Lucy Heartfilia. I'm not going to lose her. Not now and not ever.

I built up everything in me and straight ran. I've never ran this fast in my life. Her image was bigger, but at this point in time, I don't know if I will make it.

No. I have to make it. She is yards away. It feels like miles. I'm not giving up. It's my last stretch. This is it.

I blinked and there she was. Safe in my arms. I pulled her in close, holding her head, and fell to my knees. I haven't cried in a long time, not like this. It wasn't just me crying either. Through the fog that had settled down, I could see Erza in Grey's arms.

Minutes had passed, and I felt something run down my chest. I looked down to Lucy, still in my arms. She was crying too.

"Lucy? It's okay now. I have you. You are safe." I reassured her.

"I-"

"No, Lucy, don't talk just hold on to me. I'll take you somewhere safe."

"I love you." She cried.

"I love you too, Lucy," More tears rolled down my face. I stood up, cradled her and went towards Erza and Grey.

"Guild," I demanded. "Now." They nodded quickly in agreement.
