The next morning I woke up to the war of the elements. On my left, everything was frozen solid and on my right everything had turned into a pile of ash with mini flames scattered around. How it got into our room was a mystery. Of course, this was the normal way of being woken up around here so I'm not surprised.

On the mirror there was a note that read: Meet me in the lobby. -Erza. I changed out of my pajamas and made my way down to the hotel lobby to find Erza.

At the elevator, Gray was frantically pushing the 'down' button on the elevator. I pushed his hand away from the key pad and said, "Whoa, Gray!" I laughed. "What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to get downstairs so I can pound Natsu!" He said as he resumed punching the button with his pointer finger.

"You know you could've taken the stairs, right?" I pointed to the flight of stairs in the far corner. He gave himself a hard face palm then sprinted for the stairs. A couple of seconds later, the elevator doors opened and I walked in.

"Hey, wait up!" It was Natsu. He slipped into the closing doors and we were alone. Together. "So, have you seen Gray?"

"Yeah, he's making his way downstairs," I said sounding even girlier than usual.

"Are you, um, okay Lucy?" He says tilting his head.

I cough and say, "Um, yeah I'm okay." Though, I wasn't. I needed a conversation starter. I needed to get closer to Natsu. Why is this so hard?

"So, anyway I actually wanted to ask you if you were free, uh, tonight?" Was he asking me out? Is this is really happening!

I had to play it cool, "Yeah, I guess I am," I said.

"Great! Uh," the elevator doors flew open. "Wear something pretty," he said as he ran away. I blushed.

When we got on the train I grabbed Erza by the wrist and dragged her off to the side. "Erza! Guess what just happened!"

"Gray's getting married to Juvia?" she guessed.

"What? No. Wait, is he?"

"No, I-I was just guessing," she said and looked off into the distance. This girl is crazy weird.

"Okay...Natsu, I think, just asked me out!"

"Oh my God! Really?" she grabbed my hands and we started to jump. She had the biggest smile I've ever seen pasted across her face. I've never seen Erza this excited for me. Again, weird. "Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah, of course," I say with curiosity.

"Can I help you get dressed?" She said looking at her feet. I didn't understand why would Erza want to help me get dressed for a date? I don't know but I did need some advice on my outfit.

"Sure! Let's go back before Gray and Natsu start fighting!" I say as we start to make our way back to our seats.
