~Natsu
The whole train ride back, I felt normal. Normal as in I wasn't getting motion sickness because all I could think about was her. Lucy Heartfilia. Hopefully, the newly Lucy Dragneel. Doesn't that just fit perfectly? Perfect. She's perfect. More than perfect.

WAIT! WHAT AM I GOING TO SAY TO HER?

There are no words to describe her. No words come close to her. Noth–

"Sir," my train of thought froze. "You must get off the train."

"Uh, oh, I didn't realized it had stopped," I mumbled.

As I got off the train I saw Ezra running towards me.

What I thought would be a hug greeting me, I got a huge knuckle sandwich.

"What was that for?" I yelled out.

"For you leaving, Natsu," she was steamed. "You have Lucy worried."

"There was something I had to do. Something important," She was staring me down now. "I hope you didn't bruise my face. I want to look good for the big day."

"Big da–?" Her anger went to joy in .09 seconds. "Are you asking Lucy to marry you?" She was squealing with joy. Unusual for this heartless woman.

"Yes, Erza. Now I have to find her. Where is she?"

"Well, uh," I've never heard her stutter. "She went looking for you."

"What are you talking about? Why isn't she here?"

"I don't know exactly. She and Happy left to find you." I turned the other direction. "Where are you going now."

"To find the love of my life."

Happy is smart. He knew I was going to come back here, so he left trails. Always a paw print on a napkin. After a while they were getting more spaced out. Then I found one that told me to wait here. So I did. Two days. The morning of third, I saw her. Her blonde hair glowed in the early sunlight. I ran to her. She ran to me. In seconds we were caught in an embrace that seemed to be unbreakable, but I broke it, pulled out a ring I had been saving for this, and went to a knee.

"Lucy Heartfilia. My best friend and love of my life, I can't imagine my life without you. I don't know how I survived before. You're always there. Even if you're not beside me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you, Lucy Heartfilia, marry me?"

She was looking at me, speechless. Tears rolled down her face. Everything was moving so slow, but her voice wasn't.

"Yes!" She exclaimed as she jumped back into an embrace. I slid the ring onto her finger and kissed it. Then I kissed her. It felt like the first time. No, it felt like every time rolled into one. This is the rest of my life. Right here, right now.

"Let's go home," I whispered.

She looked up at me and said, "Our home."
