After Lucy and I said our goodbyes to Juvia, I immediately darted away from Lucy I could tell she noticed.

"Erza, wait!" I stopped abruptly and turned my head over my shoulder ever so lightly. "Is there something your'e not telling Juvia?"

I stood like stone while a minute ticked by on the clock. "No, um, she, I mean, never mind," I said as I bolted to the bathroom. When I got inside, I slammed the door behind me. The gray tiles under my worked feet burned with chill. There was a knock at the door.

"Erza! I just want to talk about it. Please?" I didn't open the door. "And if it's too much to tell Juvia, I promise I won't tell her," Lucy said through the slim crack of the doorway. After a minute or two I open the door. A swoosh of perfume floats off of Lucy.

"I'm only saying this: she doesn't need to worry about Gray," I said as a face of confusion washed over Lucy's face. After a weird mophia stare down, she shrugged it off and strode beside me and closed the bathroom door. I sauntered over to my bedside and requiped into my pajamas.

That night I had the hardest time to falling asleep.

The next morning, in the guild, I decided I was avoiding the group at all costs. Though, it didn't take much work. Lucy and Natsu were chatting on the steps and Juvia and Gray were doing weird things to droplets of water. The only person that wasn't being normal was me.

Twenty, thirty minutes passed by while I was just standing in front of the job request board. There was nothing for me to do so I just sat at the bar.

Mirajane was behind the counter as always, "Can I get you something, Erza?"

"Yes, uh, one slice of strawberry cheesecake, please," I said just enough for Mira to hear. The slice she gave me had exactly one strawberry on it. It was delicious and I savored every last bite.

It was getting late so I found Lucy, still talking to Natsu, and we headed home. As soon as we got out of the guild Lucy spoke, "Are you mad at me?"

"No," I said in the calmest way possible. "I just don't want to talk about it."

"Okay, I won't talk about-"

"Gray wants to ask out Juvia, but he doesn't want a committed relationship because he might like someone else. That's all I know," I said so fast I wonder if Lucy caught all of it.

"Oh, wow," she said. "I never would've pegged Gray as a kind of person who would be that way."

I didn't understand, "What way?"

"I don't know," she said. "Touchy-feely kind of guy."

We were almost to the house when I stopped Lucy, "You must never tell another living soul about the things I just told you. Do you understand, Lucy?"

She threw her hands up in surrender, "Yes ma'am!"
