Hey guys! I've been reading all of your comments and I want to thank you for all the support! I was thinking about doing a "Fairy of the Month"? The user whose name pops up in my comments/votes the most will win! xo ams

The plan for finding Natsu initially was to stop by every restaurant in the city. That didn't work. It really surprised me when the owners said that he hadn't stopped in for a couple days. Strange. Natsu has about 5 meals a day.

Soon after I left the guild, Happy found me. He said that the dumb aurora had left the building and he knew I was gone. I would've thought that Natsu would tell Happy where he was going. Or even brought Happy with him. Happy has no clue.

I can't wait any longer. She's mine and if that means do everything I can to make that permanent. I will. I meant to tell Happy where I was going, but I don't know how. I can't begin to think what his reaction will be. Will he hate me? Will he encourage me? Ugh. I guess I'll deal with it when I get the guts to ask her...

"Where do you think he could be?" I asked Happy after minutes of silence.

"You've asked me that same question word for word for the past two hours," he sighed. "And I'm going to answer with the same words: I don't know."

"Rude much?"

"Sorry, Lucy. I just miss him. I know you do too, but this is different. He's been there for me since day one even if we fought. He raised me." I saw a tear roll down his blue cheek. "I don't know what I would do without him."

I stopped dead in my tracks. "Happy, stop saying that. He would never leave you. Especially not without saying goodbye. We will find him."

He nodded.

Lucy's father's place, I think, had gotten bigger since the first time I saw it.

Take a deep breath Natsu.

I do what I told myself to do and then pressed the golden doorbell. Seconds after a servant opens the door.

"Why hello, what brings you city-dweller here?"

"I would like to speak to Mr. Heartfilia." I said with somewhat confidence.

"Sorry, son, but Mr. Heartfilia does not speak with," he paused. "Your kind."

"Well he should know that my kind, as in myself, is in love with his daughter."

There was silence. The door servant looked shocked. He slowly backed away to a small table with a phone on it, said some words, jumped in horror, and then put the phone down.

He then turned to me, "This way."

I followed him for what seemed to be forever and then the door servant opened a tall, dark door. Inside, Lucy's father was looking out the window.

"You know Natsu, Lucy does not favor me. I highly doubt she will favor you coming here."

"She will understand."

He turned to me and looked me in the eyes, "Will she?"

"Yes."

He laughed. "Well, what do you want?"

"I want to marry your daughter."

"Not a chance," he laughed.

"Why does it matter anyways? You are dead to her," I chuckle and back up. "I don't even know why I tried to do this." I was almost to the door.

"Wait," he called. "If I do this...do you think that you could convince her to accept me again? As her father?"

"I don't know. Usually what Lucy says is what goes," he looked down in disappointment. "But I will try."

He nodded in agreement. "Go," he said. "Marry her."
