I don't remember the tower being this tall. It almost seemed to have grown. I sat on the ledge with my feet dangling over the side. The view was amazing from here...

I could just...jump...

He'd catch me....

Time passed as I thought on about the decision. It soon became dark and cold. My hair no longer kept my neck warm. My feet became numb and at that point I didn't trust myself to stand up. In the distance I heard thunder and soon enough the lighting and the rain came.

Great.

There was a crack of lightening, then came a familiar voice.

"Lucy!" It was Erza. I didn't turn around. I didn't speak. "Lucy?"

Another crack of lightening. The storm was starting to get more violent. "Leave me alone. I'm fine." There was silence. I could feel them exchanging looks behind me. "I said go."

"We are family Lucy. We aren't leaving you," Gray said firmly. I heard him walking towards me. Erza following.

Then I heard it. It wasn't thunder, but it sure sounded like it. I felt the concrete beneath me shift. Then the distance between the ground way down below me was going to be my next destination. To better my chances of living I tried to grab Erza's hand that was reaching out to me. I failed.

Everything was a blur while I fell. Everything feels like it's in slow motion but hyper speed at the same time. There was only one thing I could do in my last minutes.

"NATSU......I—"
