~Erza

"Lucy?" I said as I pounded on her door. "Lucy open up." It was almost time for her big date with Natsu and she still hadn't picked out her dress. I mean, I could just requip into any outfit of my choosing. If only I could dress up for Jallal. I could spend hours flipping my long, beautiful hair in the mirror while laughing like a foolish girl.

I turned around to face the tall mirror. I requiped into a long, strapless black dress and twirled a couple times while laughing quietly. It was definitely foolish but it felt great.

"Erza?" A familiar and mannish voice said.

"Uh, um...Gray!" I quickly requiped into my armor. "Have you ever heard of knocking?"

"I've heard of it but I just don't practice it," he said. "What are you doing?"

"I'm helping Lucy with her outfit planning. You do know that she is going on a date with Natsu this evening, right?" I explained.

"Oh, yeah! I was just doing the same. Planning outfits. Not for Lucy for-for Natsu." He said weirdly. There was an awkward silence until Lucy walked into the room.

"Gray! You can't just barge into my house! Ugh, never mind. You do it all the time," she sighed. "What do you need?"

He regained himself and said, "Natsu wants to know what color your dress is. He said he wanted his tie to match." Natsu is going to wear a tuxedo? I guess he really does like Lucy if he's going to dress up for her.

"Oh crap! Erza? What color should I wear?" She screamed. She looked at me and bunched her blond hair into her fist.

I thought hard and when I finally got it I yelled, "Garnet! That would look great on you! I've actually got a dress you could borrow!"

"Okay, okay! I'll tell him garnet. Have a great time Lucy!" he said as he walked out of the door.

"Phew that was a close one!" I said under my breath.

"What?" Lucy asked.

"Nothing." I said quickly. "Just, nothing."

She looked great. No, that's not the right word. Stunning. That's it. Her shoulder length hair flowed perfectly on her shoulders and her heels fit just right. I was jealous, really jealous.

"Open, gate of the giant crab, Cancer!" Lucy chanted as she whirled her key in her celestial formation. In about three seconds her celestial spirit showed and started to trim the ends of her hair. He styled it, restyled it, and kept styling it until it was time to leave.

"Okay, so you have your wallet, pepper spray, and gloss?" I said sounding like a mother. I soon regretted that because I forgot about her mother. "I'm sorry. I must sound like a mother." I looked down.

"Erza? Have you feeling okay lately? Usually you'd rather take a job than help me of all people get ready for a date." She says to me with a hand on her hip.

I sit on her bed, "I just don't really have friends. That I can count on and share secrets with. And I believe that you are that you are that person Lucy."

Lucy sits beside me and says, " Well, then from now on we can do everything together. You know what they call that?" she didn't give me time to answer. "Best Friends Forever! Or BFFs for short! Ha-ha!"

The doorbell rang and she grabbed her purse and hugged me goodbye, then she bolted for the door.
