*a few weeks later*

"Lucy!" Natsu called when I walked into the guild.

"Hey, Natsu!" I called back, waving my hand.

"Long time no see, Lu," Natsu said, embracing me.

I laughed, "Natsu! It's only been like a day!"

"Right, but still," He stared at me with his black eyes, young and powerful. He was everything, all at once. No one to stop him. No one to break his determination, on whatever was going on. "So, I was thinking about getting our S-Class mojo on and taking a job?"

I snapped back to reality, where I couldn't just daydream about Natsu all day, "Sure, that sounds great."

Cuts and bruises are my trophies now since I have so many. I know it's weird to think that but it's true. On the other hand, I saw something different in everyone in the group. Well, almost everyone. Happy was the same annoying blue cat. Though, Natsu seemed stronger, Gray had more will, and Erza seemed to have more magical power than usual. It was strange, yet so awesome.

After are job was finished we returned really late. Erza and I gave our goodbyes to the guys and returned home.

"How are you feeling, Lucy?" Erza asked after we took baths and bandaged our wounds.

"Fine," I said. "Just fine." Those were the only words said that night.

It was difficult to fall asleep, but it wasn't easy. My body was throbbing and my eyes burned when I closed them, making tears fall down my cheek. Though, I soon fell into a deep slumber.

The next day was quiet. Barely any jobs were taken and a lot of the guild was a no show. Natsu was there, eating of course. I sat down in the chair opposite of him. There weren't any words just an exchange of smiles between us.

"Hi," Natsu said, through his smile.

"Hi," I said, also still smiling.

Silence.

"Yeah, hey," I jumped at the sound of Erza's voice. She gave us a straight face then said, "So, Lucy, since there isn't anyone here do you want to go out to eat?"

"Uh, sure," I said.

"Sorry Natsu this is a girls night tonight," Erza declared.

Natsu laughed and put his hands up in surrender, "Alright!"

I stood up and followed Erza out, though, before we made it out the door, Natsu jumped in front of me.

"Lucy, will you go out with me tomorrow night?"

"Yes," I said "Yeah, I would live that Natsu!" He smiled brightly and then traded places with me. He gave me a too-short hug and waved goodbye.

So guys, I'm really sad to say that this book has only one more chapter left >_< but who knows there may be a part two....or a short story after...but I'm going to try to get that chapter to you ASAP! Anyways, thank you so much for over 3K reads and 160+ votes! 'Til next time fairies!!
