Do you ever just cry because Rachel had to tell Grover his two best friends were in Tartarus and he probably wandered around the woods by himself, thinking about all their adventures and how tough they were and trying to convince himself that they would be okay and wishing he was there with them because he is still their protector no matter how old they get and how much they don't need him anymore.
Imagine Grover lying awake at night, trying to fall asleep but he can't because he feels what Percy is feeling. And the pain is too much, and he wishes he were there to support them, to give them a little spark of hope.
Imagine the thrill Grover felt when he saw his best friends again. How he threw himself at them, whispering, "I'm glad you guys are okay." And he was crying, but it was okay because he finally had Percy and Annabeth back.
Imagine the soft smile on Grover's face that night, because he knows that they are finally safe. But deep down he knows that one day, his best friends will leave again, and he will be left with only memories of three inexperienced kids who faced the world and won.
Hey guys!! I'm sorry for not updating in a long time, but I've been really busy. Anyway, the first paragraph (italicized) does not belong to me, I only added the rest of the paragraphs because I wanted to expand this idea.
Thank you for the support. Please comment, share, and vote. Thank you for everything!
