1. They were walking down the beach, Annabeth rambling on and on about architecture and her plans for the new Olympus.
Percy was honestly trying to listen, but he kept getting distracted by the way her eyes shone like jewels along with the sun, and how her hair looked golden in the light...
"Are you listening to me?" Annabeth asked, her gaze piercing Percy.
"O-Of course." Percy answered, quickly kissing Annabeth to make her ignore the fact he hardly heard anything.
She started to lean in before she broke off suddenly, and asked a very random question. "Do you ever regret dating me? I just keep rambling on and on about things that obviously do not interest you, and you just keep staring off-"
She was cut out by Percy placing his lips to her once again, only this time, he made it slow and sweet.
"I will never regret becoming your boyfriend," he said. "Never."
2. They were sparring. Sweat glimmered from their skin as the metals of their weapons crashed in a blocked slash. The pair of demigods kept sparring, never gaining on each other.
Finally, Annabeth got the upper hand when Percy gazed into her cloudy eyes for too long. She ripped Riptide from his hands, and gracefully flipped the Son of Poseidon over her shoulder. Her knee was pressing against his chest, hard enough for Percy to widen his eyes.
"Yield?" Annabeth asks, her voice rough and out of breath.
"Never." Percy responds before sending ice cold water to Annabeth.
"You are dead, SEAWEED BRAIN!"
3. She had just woken up from a nightmare. Screaming bloody murder and waking up her siblings. The other children of Athena already knew the plan: get Annabeth's boyfriend.
Percy Jackson came barreling inside Cabin 6, his raven hair wild, and his green eyes wide.
When he saw Annabth, he immediately hugged her, rocketing her like a baby. Her other siblings left the room to give the couple a little privacy, but they could still hear everything they said.
"I-I dreamt about B-Bob," her voice cracked as tears surfaced again, "and Damasen. And Little Bob. They d-died, Percy. They died for us!"
"I know, Beth. I know. But thanks to them, we made it out. We have to honor their sacrifices." Percy said, tears gathering in his eyes.
"Percy," Annabeth started, "promise me something."
"Anything." He responded, kissing the top of her hair, smelling the faint aroma of her lemon shampoo.
"Promise me to never leave. Please, don't leave."
"I won't leave." He said, hugging her tightly. "Never."
