Fawn's POV
I walked out of the room and clenched my fist, ready to lash at anyone who was foolish enough to cross my path. Just as I was thinking the very thought, I felt someone attempt to put a hand on my shoulder. I whipped around and grabbed my sword.
A boy with a red t-shirt stood frozen, his brown hair covering an eye. His other eye, a deep green, looked around nervously, as he tried to plot a way to escape the sword that was pointing at his throat, the tip barely touching.
"D-Do you always act this w-way?" the boy stuttered nervously, his fingers edging toward his pocket.
"Hey, what are you doing?" I asked as his fingers closed on a mysterous object.
He looked at me, the fear in his eyes slowly changing to humor. He smiled as he pulled out a purple potion and smashed it on the ground. Immediatly, a puff of smoke erupted from the ground and I slashed at it, and carefully stopped. Very distantly, someone was running toward the Nether portal.
I ran as quickly as I could toward the portal. If he made it out, it would be nearly impossible to find him among the many in the Minecraft worlds. I could see a flash of red in front of the portal.
The boy was out of breath as he panted heavily. He froze as he saw me enter view and slowly stood up. He held an iron sword in one hand and a map in another hand.
"Who are you?" he asked defiantly, holding up an iron sword defiantly.
"I'm Fawn. I have a question for you as well. What were you doing in the Nether?" I asked, walking closer to him.
"I was exploring." he said carefully, as if a word would spill a secret.
"What's your name?" I asked, edging closer to him, a leap away from grabbing him.
"Sparrow." he said, and leaped into the portal.
"Great." I muttered as I leaped into the portal, just great."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I emerged into a green forest, where I couldn't see any trace of where Sparrow had run off to. I stepped forward, hearing a click of a pressure plate.I looked at the ground, and facepalmed myself. I was an idiot walking into a trap, and what did I do? Step in it, like the idiot. The familiar hiss of tnt calmed, until the last second. Oh no, nononononono. This ain't good, this ain't good-
I was jolted backwards and my head was fuzzy. Everything looked blurry, and of course, Sparrow walked toward me, gripping an iron sword. He prodded me, and I tried in vain to push the sword away.
He nodded to someone out of view, and I was shifted onto a stretcher. I tried wiggling my fingers, and slowly but surely, feeling drifted back into myself. I decided to get off the stretcher, but I couldn't help feeling tired. I looked at my arm, to see a syringe sticking out of it. The world slowly drifted out of view, and I tried to grab them before I was unconscious.
