Fawn POV

"Well, I hope this place is something decent." I said to myself, looking at the rest of the group disappear into the crowd. Meanwhile, I continued to trod along on the Nether Brick pathway.

"Well, lookie here, what is this?" a voice said quietly, I turned around to stare into the piecing blue eyes of Vortex. "I'm afraid you did something wrong."

"Oh yeah." I said, my voice dropping dangerously low. "What is that?"

"You've exceeded the group limit." Vortex said. "I said one accomplice, and you have what one, two, three, four people in your group, excluding the dragon.

"Hey!" Angel said indignantly. "I'm not just some dragon you pick up on the side of the road!"

"Hey, be quiet." Vortex said, flicking a strand of hair. "I'm trying to have a conversation."

"Hmph." Angel said. "I'll be right over here." Angel said, walking three yards away from us and siting down, watching Vortex warily.

"As I was saying." Vortex continued. "You have 4 people in your group. That's a lot more than I said. I'm willing to bump it up to two people, but no more. Oh course, if you don't listen, there could be a casualty."

"Is that a threat I hear?" I hissed, pulling out my sword. " 'Cause I'm not afraid of you."

"Yeah, you hear that!" Serphetise shouted. "You gonna suffer if you say those things with that evilish look thing on your face."

"Oh, so you found out the sword talks, well good for you." Vortex grinned. "And I'll duel. Would be good to prepare you beforehand."

"Before what?" I said cautiously, holding Serphentise tighter.

"Well, I wouldn't want to spoil that surprise, would I?" she said. "But I'll start this duel."

She leaped at me, pulling out a shocking blue diamond sword with sparks of electricity bolting up it. I swung Serphentise at the sword and they collided in a fury of sparks. I groaned as the pressure of the sword grew more and more and I felt like I was going to drop the sword.

"Well, this is a real shame isn't it?" Vortex said with ease, pushing on her sword more and more. "I could see why Herobrine sent you away; you're nothing but a weakling."

I glared at her and whistled out loud, a sharp rise in sound. Vortex took the time to cover her ears, which only would take a couple of seconds, but that was all I needed. Filled with renewed energy, I pushed back against Vortex and slowly, her sword began to splinter.

Flecks of diamonds were now falling out with incredible speed, chunks of in falling and brave skeletons were ducking in while the battle was at a standstill, grabbing the diamonds and getting ready to polish and shine them for sale.

The blade continued to break and splinter, long cracks in the blade of the sword. Vortex clamped her mouth shut, and continued to try and rebel the pressure of Serphentise, but the more she fought against it, the more Serphentise glowed, and the cracks appeared faster and quicker, until with a great flash, the blade shattered, falling in small specks in the millions until all that remained on the ground were glittering diamonds.

"Come on," Vortex said. "You broke my favorite plaything."

Before she could say anything else, the roar of a dragon emerged out of the sweltering heat. Angel swooped down toward Vortex and before he could reach her, she looked at me and gave a sly grin.

"You only have three days." she hissed before disappearing in a swath of flames that Angel had breathed.
