Sparrow's POV
"How much longer?" I moaned, dragging my legs across the ground.
"Just a mile or so left!" Cosmelia said cheerfully.
"Apparently, you've got all the bad luck!" Cara taunted, flying alongside Angel, who in the meanwhile was laughing back at me.
"Just because you've got magic and you've got wings, doesn't give you any more credibility than I have!" I hollered, but two three were already too far out of range to hear me.
I took a glance at my surroundings and observed. All there was were some straggly tufts of grass, and an occasionally lone tree. Horses were scattered far in between, and if I was tactical, I could've brought some apples and tamed a horse. But of course not, and now I was stuck walking.
"Cos, it's my turn now!" I said, pleading to the figure sitting on top of Angel.
"She doesn't want to come off." Angel said loudly.
"Well, tell her to come down." I muttered mentally.
"Ok!" Angel said cheerfully. "She's coming your way!"
"Huh?" I said, confusing. "What do you-"
A large object pushed me to the ground, and I realized in a split second that it was Cosmelia. Her face was pressed up to me, and I tried to push her away, but not before our lips were pressed together. I never realized love could be so.....compelling.
"Well, that proves it." Angel chuckled. "You're in L-O-V-E!"
"Ack!" I said, pushing Cosmelia away, but the act was already done.
Angel was hiding a smile from everyone's gaze, and I could tell that Cara was doing the same; probably mocking me telepathically. Cosmelia in the meanwhile was blushing profusely. My legs felt weak, and I struggled to stand. While I walked over to Cosmelia, I heard Angel and Cara whisper to each other, and they cleared their throats.
"We'd like to say something." Cara said, clearly trying to make her voice sound regal and dignified.
"It's about, love..." Angel murmured, sounding like one of those guys on the bass. "Here's a song we decided to make."
"It's called, L-oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-ve.
"Hit it!" Cara proclaimed, and the two started to sing.
"Cosmelia and Sparrow, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G, first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage!"
"Come on guys, be mature about this, please?" I asked, my face turning red.
"Hey Cosmelia, come on, let's go." I said, playfully prodding her. "It's my turn to get on Angel; unless you beat me!"
"The timelines are changing.." Cosmelia whispered, the hood she wore fluttering in the wind. "All because of one event."
"Err, can we get this going?" Angel asked, flapping his wings anxiously. "I mean, the moments over."
"Right, let's get onto that." I said. "I think I saw the portal, and I'm not sure, but someone just entered it; no three!"
"You think it's Fawn!" Cara asked excitedly, her wings stretching out a couple feet.
"Come on!" I said, pulling Cosmelia onto Angel. I dug my arms around her waist, and kissed her a second time.
And.
She let me.
