Fawn's POV

"Ughnnn." I moaned as I stumbled across to crumbled remains of the Nether portal. It was destroyed for sure, totaled. Did I really do that all just with a couple blocks of TNT? Well then..

"Was that necessary, Fawn?" Sparrow grumbled, shaking off shards of obsidian off his cloak. "I mean, couldn't we just run?"

"The human is right." Angel reminded. "I could have destroyed it easily with my tail."

"Ya sure, let's put a broken Nether portal, my powers, and an assortment of stuff on my bill." I said.

"That will be a total of a trillion diamonds." I replied, using a voice similar to a clerk.

"Er, Fawn, what are you doing?" Sparrow said, looking very confused.

"Oh, nothing. Just er, talking to myself." I said.

"Well, I suppose we should get going now, after all, Notch probably is looking for us this very nano-second." Cara said. "Speaking of which, can someone get me out of this net?"

"Oh, yeah, about that." I said, embarrassed. I swiped my obsidian sword at the netting and it all crumbled to dust. I helped Cara up to her feet and just as we started to move out, a new voice spoke up.

"Hi there!" the sword said, and everyone screamed and ran backwards. "I'm Serphentise!"

In one word, it was chaos. Sparrow squealed like a pig and ran straight toward Angel while Cara, Kai, Daisy and myself walked backwards slowly and inspected the mysterious talking sword. It wasn't every day you found out that your prized possession could speak at will and blurt random things when you least expect it.

"Umm, I'm Fawn. How do you talk?" I blurted out. "What enchantments are on you?"

The sword hovered in the air, around a foot or so high. It glowed, I mean, Serphentise glowed with a purple aura, and the obsidian that made up most of the sword glimmered a dark black. The green stones that were on the hilt of the sword radiated power, and I could tell despite the light mood the sword had, it was only fooling around.

"I talk because of the enchantment the creator of me. I do know the enchantments on this sword, but it would take years, if not decades to explain each one thoroughly in a manner that you would understand. Although, the knowledge of the sword and anything related to the sword would most probably kill you first. Satisfied?"

Well, I guess that a first always happens. I guess a talking sword wasn't the weirdest thing that I had ever heard or seen. I looked at the sword, and remember the first time I ever used it.

(FLASHBACK)

I  ran around my bedroom, grinning with a gleeful look. Daddy had gone of a raid, and I could hear trumpets blaring outside in the corridors. That meant that Daddy had won the raid and probably salvaged some goods on the battlefield. A loud knock signal led that either someone to escort me to Hero or Hero himself would come to my bedroom. I rushed to the door and answered.

"Who is it?"

"Your father obviously."

"Then what kind of creature can be a gallant steed to those who need it most."

"A ghast."

"Come in Daddy!"

Herobrine walked inside and sat on the bed. Old scars covered his arms, and a deep gash that was still trickling beads of blood was arched above his eye. He seemed to limp, like that raid that was supposedly easy, might not have been the easiest.

"Hey my little netherwart. How's your day been?" Hero said, grinning wearily.

"Daddy, we got to go ghast riding today. I saw the whole Nether, it's so big, and huge! How do you protect all of the space?!"

"With the ghasts, pigmen, and blazes telling me where boundries are weak and such. Where players explore, etr. Speaking of which, guess what I found on the raid.."

"What?" I asked, trying to contain my excitement.

"I found this." Herobrine said, pulling out a gleaming obsidian sword. Green gems covered the hilt of the sword, and it had a thin purple aura surrounding it.

"Whoa.." I said. "That's so cool!" I said.

"That's why I'm giving it to you." Herobrine said, handing the sword to me.

"Thanks dad!" I exclaimed, and I ran to give Herobrine my last hug before the walls of the fortress came crashing down.
